Chuck: It was an OH SHIT! WTF! OMG! moment that lasted about three minutes. I learned very quickly there was a safe and a not so safe way to grab them. The trick is determining where the danger is. I’ve also gotten a finger stuck between the fixture and the ceiling on the re-install. That isn’t quite as bad.

Jeff finally let us in, but it wasn’t pretty, we had to pay a camping fee up front in cash that’s suppose to be credited to a repair invoice.

My Aqua Hot is running fine but I don’t even want to think about trying to service the burn chamber. I will have to remove all the house batteries (8) or enlist the help of Gumby. So buried I can’t figure out how to get in there. Maybe yours is a little more accessible?

Keep in mind Cruiseairs are significntly quieter than roof airs. Makes a big difference in the bedroom when you are trying to sleep. Marathon has service centers in Oregon, Texas and Florida. A few 2000 Marathons have OTR ACs.

Just to close the loop on this thread. I know there are differing opinions on the use of inner wheel extensions, etc.
If you do choose to use them, the Alcoa 1.5 inch version with a center hole are the correct grommets.

OK I know it sounds to good, it must be a scam.
Had a friend buy these Streak Free towels at a Passport America rally and give me one. He rant and raved about how good it was, I said thank you and stuffed it in drawer. He keep asking me if I finally used it, so I broke down and tried it. OMG it works, wet it with water only, ring it out and wipe the glass, mirrors, chrome, etc. When you do your first wipe it lives little water droplets that will disappear and the surface is spotless. Toss it in the washing machine and your ready to go again. They claim it is good for a month or so, have a couple that are over a year old and still going.
Only warning I would give is, they clean so well you need to do a preliminary cleaning to get the surface dirt of first then wipe with the Streak Free. If you use the Streak Free first the windshield, glass, mirror’s will be spotless for the first wipe then progressively smeared as you go because it picks up so much dirt.
They are not that expensive give them a try. Biggest complaint I have heard is as they age they tend to look like a paper towel or rag and people mistakenly throw them out.

Have driven approx 400 miles since adding grease to the front end parts. Moaning, groaning, and creaking has stop. There is still a little squeaking when going over some bumps, think I have narrowed it down to the front sway bar bushings.
Guess I am making another trip to JoSam’s when I get back

One of them is called Schedule C and has a place for all kinds of limits. All of the limits are blank, but they want my signature at the bottom. I am not crazy about signing a blank page that can be filled into their heart’s desire.

Tom is a sissy and when he comes into my coach (with its comfortable temperatures for humans with blood flow) he is usually wearing a hoodie and has a snowmobile suit nearby in case he gets a chill.
Keep in mind everybody’s definition of comfortable varies with Floridians and Arizonans starting to put on sweaters when temps fall below 85, and others considering extra clothes when temperatures fall below 55.
