Wow, it sounds like they really did not do you any favors. We have stayed there 2 or 3 times over the years and never had any similar issues. Maybe we were there during less busy times or maybe we were just lucky but we never had any issues getting in our out. We are only 40′ but with a solid axle we don’t have nearly the turning radius of the newer coaches so I don’t know which is more important.
You can’t be that park for location, however. I am sorry to hear about your experience. Glad you got out unscathed!

Ronald, we are going to be in Albuquerque for the balloon fest as well. I carry an electronic gizmo that listens for leaks, it won’t find everyone but if you have leaks like Jon is saying you will be able to pinpoint the big ones. Your welcome to find us and borrow it if you would like. We will arrrive on Monday the 8th.

I’ve never driven a semi. Just the Suburban and 45′ Prevost towing the 26′ enclosed race trailer with a 5′ tongue.
From my humble perspective, its a matter of geometry between the tractor and the trailer. I receive FB posts from Twisted Trucker and the “weird” things I see posted are beyond comprehension. I discovered once I understood the geometry between the tractor/bus/truck and the trailer, my ability to safely maneuver and park the trailer got much, much easier.

Ron, those 2 items pictured are tools used tp slip-in on the side 3 and 9 positions of your AM-FM radios found on several Marathon locations.
If you have a radio failure…they make short work on the project releasing spring clips.

Limit could be associated with if your card is pulling from your CC VS auto withdrawal from an actual bank account. Ive gone over $500 with no problems (well outside of me complaining about the cost of diesel, but that has nothing to do with ProfitTools).

Harry, I’ve owned it for two years, but I only brought it home a little over a year ago. It has been a labor of love updating it and going through the systems, and it has also been a valuable education. I really appreciate the craftsmanship of both Prevost and Liberty, and have gone through every house system and many on the chassis. I probably wouldn’t have tackled much of this on a newer, more integrated coach, so I’m not likely to trade up in the future. The work is really my adventure, and the journeys are just a bonus!
I’m going to start a topic under Updates when I wrap up my projects for the summer. The cosmetic improvements have been modest, but I’m really happy with the overall progress. In a year or two she may even get some new paint. 🙂

1999 Prevost Liberty XL
This is what I found on my short trip to upper Wisconsin. On my way back the ABS light came on. During a detour through Milwaukee (boy that sucked), I had to make a sharp turn causing my left drive tire to catch a curb. This caused the ABS sensor to think that the tire was a different size causing the light to come on about 20 minutes after I hit the curb. By reading the anti-lock braking system bus maintenance manual (Manual #30) it showed me how to reset the code for the ABS. After reset and a short drive, light went out.
This is worth checking out if your light comes on and could save lots of money.
This is a FYI and something to try if your ABS light comes on.
