Thanks to all that have replied.

I am aware that I would need to change the inner cap nuts to the ones with the shoulder to fit into the aluminum wheel.

That black cap on the stem is my pressure pro sensor. I do have one of Tom’s patented removal tools. My pressure pro alerted me to the bad tire after the explosion with a Tire has zero pressure alert. Prior to that the drives all ran at 110. There is no line around the casing indicating the tire had been running low and over heating.

How much clearance do I need to run two aluminum wheels and where do I measure?

There are no marks on the inside wall of the outside tire, so I would not be inclined to think something was stuck in between. I think it is just a result of the explosion. There is a lot of force when a tire unzips like that. I experienced it once up close and personal when I was working at the tire company. I ended up 30 feet across the parking lot.

This makes no sense. Who has blue anti freeze ?

Installed coolant is pink in system, you say. How does Pink turn Blue ? Most time coolant has properties causing a couple of drops to appear like a flood.

Looks more like Permatex gasket maker someone used to hold something in place while in re-assembly.

I read that info about mechanical interlocking a long time ago. It was likely spec requirements for an institutional application where standards are more stringent. What Jon and Joe are saying sounds reasonable and Joe has obviously done his homework. Sorry to muddy up the works. I just don’t want Art to get hurt before he gets every part on his coach replaced. Im sure hes getting close. Thanks.

    Jeff,

Very interesting posts. Do you have a picture of your old camera in place?

Our camera was replaced by previous owners, and it looks similar to your new

one. The only difference is it is totally mounted inside the coach. The problem

that we have is I believe the reflection of the glass on the rear of the coach is

causing the camera to reflect the lights back at night. the reflection is so

bright it renders the camera useless. After seeing yours, I wonder if I remove

the exterior lens on the camera if it will solve my reflection problem.

I would not assume the blinds are DC power. My 97 had 120V motorized blinds.

Thanks for the frustrating work Tom. We don’t blame you and fully agree with the cancellation. Impossible to deal with these people! It took forever to get a reservation through Sun Resorts, who took our deposit, and it will now take the parks’s action to issue a $162 refund minus a $20 fee. Sun took the deposit but won’t issue a refund. Interesting. Oh well.

Just sayin’ that Hearthside, with a coach photo, is most accommodating and a superb park.

Jon, A Webasto needs to be exercised and if not the nozzle tends to get dirty and plugged. They are a relatively inexpensive item and easily replaced if needed. If fuel isn’t sprayed in a fine mist as a result of a dirty nozzle combustion will be affected.

Maybe Rudy can jump in and give a better explanation.

We were parked in the VIP west parking lot about 200 yards from the launch field. As mentioned the night glow didn’t happen due to wind but its just part of the experience. Tom Gail made our reservations a year ago on the first day that they opened up the reservation system, they go within the hour. But its differently worth the work to get them, and doing in an RV is the way to go.

I have a bad heater valve that’s not working and Prevost says the part is no longer available and there is no replacement part. So, I am pretty much SOL when doing any amount of Winter driving unless I run the generator and point 2 electric heaters toward the drivers area. The windshield will still freeze due to no heat but at least we don’t freeze to death before we arrive at our destination.
