If this is for sale, post it on the Flea Market.

Steve, there is only the transfer switch between the generator and your coach electrical system or between shore power and your electrical system.
I cannot understand why only your generator and not shore power is charging the batteries unless the transfer switch when under generator power is only feeding one leg.

I have noticed this similar issue on our coach for the past year. The Haldex SS1200 air dryer purges every 1 minute. Jeff has replaced nearly every air system component on the coach with no success in correcting this issue. The 1 min cycle is present when the coach is rolling. Chock the wheels with parking brake off & the cycle rate is 15 to 20 minutes. I have driven the coach for over 10,000 miles since noticing the issue. No better or no worse. I am no longer convinced it is a real problem?
Like Jon’s window, this may have always performed in this manner. Once I noticed it I am obsessed by it.
However, Prevost has a service kit to convert the Haldex to a Bendix AD-9 dryer. The significant difference in the dryers is the AD-9 stores its own air for the purge cycle. The SS1200 uses 10psi of air from your wet tank for the purge cycle. This greatly reduces the operating pressure range in the wet tank which reduces the time between cycles.
Good luck

The Haldex dryer on your coach has an integral governor. The installation has a supply line for the air compressor, and what appears to be a small line that goes back to the whole coach supply fitting on the rear passenger side coach upright at the rear door hinge side (schrader valve).
It has a line supplying the wet tank.
It has a third small line from the bottom of the dryer assembly going to a small tank, maybe to absorb pressure pulses or whatever. I don’t completely understand the purpose but my point is to describe the lines and fittings.
The air line to the wet tank is always pressurized because there is no check valve between the dryer and wet tank so if the air compressor is cycling due to a loss of pressure it could be related to that or a leak at the fittings or the recycling is absolutely normal. My compressor cycles as you describe. I am unaware of any system leaks to cause that so I just always considered it normal.
I can say we are often oblivious to sounds on our coaches until they come to our attention and then our brain cannot let them go by ignoring them. I have spent a lot of energy chasing noises that were always there, but that I were never fully aware of, until I started hearing them for the first time.
I hate to think how long a window in the living room vibrated and made a noise before I became aware of it, but once I did notice it I was obsessed by it.

Thanks Jon, now I remember you writing this up a few years ago, and I found the article you wrote. Do you know if the aluminum loading ramps (from Parliament) are a commercial product, or were they custom fabricated?
I bought one of the Wheels To Go carts. I think it is a bit less tall than the Cricket when “folded”. My Royale does not have the Liberty leveling box like that, so that is not a problem.
I added a Joey bed that is on the passenger side, but is wider than 1/2 of the bay width. To make this work at all, I will have to shorten the depth of it quite a bit.

We put a large fridge/freezer in the front bay recently. At the same time we put remote temperature sensors (Sensor-Push) in the unit and in the bay. In addition to being able to set alarm points, we get a display of the temperature change over time. It communicates with our WiFi and sends all the information to our smart phones.
We are using the cooler as a freezer so it is working hard in the warm/hot weather. So far we have only seen a temperature rise of a few degrees in the bay, nothing to worry about.
One thing to be aware of is be careful not to block any of the ventilation openings on the unit. It need some open space for efficiency.

Has Prevost been made aware of this???????
I think this goes beyond just the fronts. It might be isolated to coaches with Knorr Bremse brakes or more widespread. Any members that find the problem please report here and be specific as to model year and type of coach.

I wonder how they seal the bead and keep it from spinning on the rim. Maybe there is air in the inner portion.

Jeff, I cannot comment on the air, but the photo you posted shows the nut that holds the valve handle on the stem is missing. You might want to get a nut and replace the missing one before you lose that handle with the information tag. Hope you get cooled off.

Gran, The thing to remember is if you get a low pressure situation your parking brakes are going to be applied when you do not have sufficient pressure to the parking brake.
Any low pressure alarm is cause to get to a safe spot quickly because you are about to lose control over the brakes.
An accessory system loss of air is going to cause a drop of total brake system air pressure until it drops to the protection valve pressure which is going to be sufficient to keep the parking brake off and to provide coach brakes.
Until and unless you know what is happening and why, get to a safe spot.

After you pay Wendy the $90 welcome fee, she’ll send you membership and warranty docs. She’ll also send you current price PDFs for Michelin & BFG HDtruck tires, and for Michelin, BFG, & Uniroyal light truck/suv/pass tires. The Michelin, BFG, & Uniroyal tire dealers don’t know the price we are paying unless you tell them. Tom Ward can also tell you the price of a tire.
When I was buying the ST230s, Adam the saleman @ Beasley asked what my cost was. When I told him, he was impressed. He said our price was lower than what Beasley pays for them.
Also, the DOT date codes were 11/19, nice and fresh 🙂
May God Bless America

Tom, have you changed to the IPad upgrade on the Crestron?
Still looking for the advantages.
