We joined the ‘Know your Prevost’ group in Oct. of ’15. If anyone is on the edge of thinking of going you will not be disappointed.
The seminar has gotten even better since we attended and we are due for a ‘re-freshen’ but will have to catch it another time.
GO! It is a very informative presentation/seminar! You will have so much fun!
We all got free Rolex’s and Bernie got gold spinners on his Marathon.

Hey Andy, you may want to direct Chuck to the video you did of your bus. Beautiful example of a bath and a half bus with bunks.

When you turn the webasto switch on it is then circulating the coolant throughout the system. So yes a rise in cabin temp will happen even with the inside t-stats off. I dont know a specific time however I would say 30 minutes prior would be plenty of time…

Great idea. I had a hose fail last fall and there were none available in my location.

Ditto what Mikee said, you’ll have oil up high above the compressor and it’s hard to see with the alternator in place, you have to crawl in there with a flashlight to see it and you’ll have oil run down the rear side of the motor under the alternator mount. That was one of the reasons they came out with the stiffener kit for the accessory case on some years, suppose to prevent needing a diamond seal, an expensive repair. The accessory case moves slightly and will cause the oil leak.

I did it myself. Cost me $500
Xtreme Paint and Graphics link was using this product in early 2017, that’s how I heard about it.
No more “snap, crackle, pop” when the sun comes and goes on the roof of the bus.

I would guess you should have guide tangs as pictured in the first photo to use a hub piloted wheel but maybe not if the hub is machined to the correct OD. In fact, there may be no room for guide tangs on the drive hub.
Yes, Prevost Mira Loma changed my stud piloted front wheels to the larger hub piloted wheels for 365 tires with only a stud/nut change. I have a 1999 chassis…not sure what would be on yours.

My research revealed that both STUD and HUB piloted wheels have the same size center hole, 8.70″ or 221mm. They have the same diameter bolt pattern, 11.25″, and 10 stud holes. About the only difference is STUD piloted wheels have tappered seats.
Shelly & Sandy: question? so all you had to change was the studs and lug nuts to make you STUD piloted hubs work? If that’s the case, super singles are back on the table for us 🙂
Jon, Michelin super single (455/55 etc) tire availability is a concern, but even Michelin 315/80s are a little scarce. We live in a 295 and/or 11R world.Top pic is hub piloted, see the ridge that centers the wheel?
Bottom pic is STUD piloted, hub fills the wheel center hole.

This was my experience with a 2000 model H3 many years back. Installing 365’s and 10.25 wheels. Studs changed to Hub Pilot , hubs were untouched , already correct size to bolt up hub piloted wheels.

Let me see if I got this right. When you wax my coach in 2025 you want me to provide a scissors lift, but you will not get one for your coach?
What’s wrong with this picture???????

Regardless of what protective product you use, Get a bucket of HOT water from your sink or wet bay faucet. Dip your extension pole with what ever end you prefer (micro fiber, bug sponge, etc) in the HOT water, apply from one side to the other on the bug filled front of your coach. Now go back to the side you started on and repeat. After a few times of doing this the HOT water will have softened the bugs/bug guts and they will come off quite easily with out using soaps or chemicals that would affect your waxes or protective coatings HOT WATER is the softening trick.
Don’t try this on a cold day with a cold surface, your results may not be good. I.E. cracking the glass due to temp changing from the HOT water

Tom,
When you come out of Dead Horse, on your right is a road that goes to a scenic overlook. If you stay on that road and keep going, it takes a bunch of steep narrow switchbacks to the bottom of the canyon. If you stay on that road it will take you all the way back to the blue ponds on the north side of Moab. Real nice drive with a lot to see.
Have fun

Andy, I understand what you are saying, but my point is that unless I am passing I am in the right lane, and every time I come to an on ramp with merging traffic I do not always have the opportunity to move over a lane and at this point I am sick and tired of accommodating drivers that do not know how to safely merge.
And Jon, I fully understand your concept of driving at 62mph in the right lane and in some ways, that’s truly a safe approach. While you have many more hours of seat time than I have at this point, I’ve found it safer to do the same thing that most trucks do and that’s to stay away from the lane that’s encroached by those merging onto the highway.
