entry door electric lock
HI can someone comment on the electric lock motor on my entry door. had the panel off and see it. my question is what activates it. would it be the alarm fob. i just finally got the alarm to respond to a fob. i was told it didnt work. and maybe it does not. but i have it setting and disarming for now. 99 marathon #547 thanks.

I’m a little confused by your post. Mine is not a Marathon but my electric entry lock activates from key fob, keypad on entry door outside, and a couple switches inside coach.

THANKS JOEL. i do not have a key pad and see no switch inside. maybe marathon can shed some light. my coach has an alarm that marathon installed the company is gone. is the only fob other than the cord reel. thanks.

You probably have the same Trekmate security system that I have in my 99 Marathon. Check out the article “Troubleshooting the Trekmate security system” in the articles section of the board for details on how to reset/reprogram.
There is a three position hidden switch under the dash.

THANKS. got it to program off on fob. no action on the door lock. maybe disabled. or ? .
