Mr Mark, Hate to break some news on your new dream bus but have real next door hands on experence with L[berty’s new wonderful batteries. They won’t go all night running just the refridge and a light or two, now this is a two battery system not three after liveing with this for a while he asked about adding a third battery since there was room but was quoted 8’0000 for the extra and told to only expect a couple more hours of service, he passed. Its no secret that Liberty builds a pole to pole bus and that is not a bad thing if thats the way you plan to use it. It is just hard to beat a good healthy bank of Lifeline AGM battries.

Don Wolf worked for Angola and is now at Panterra Coach in Angola Ind. Maybe he would have some insight. His memory of the Angolas he worked on can be amazing.

Joel, Do you realize we don’t have to feed the owners of other brand coaches talking points. they seem to do very well without help from us.

Your advice is good. I didn’t know what dash the 2000 Angola has, whether it is the new one, or the one like yours because I think they have different types of gauges. Some converters called their model year 2000 even though it was the first year of the XLII, but most called the first model year of the XLII (which Prevost shows as a 2000) a 2001.

here is my take on the Jack. We retrofitted our wineguard with the Jack and it is amazing the HD reception we get. Niw when we move into a Prevost, we will be in the same pickle as everyone else. If the Jack cannot be mounted to the OEM anntena then we might have to make some adjustments. Overall i would buy the Jack again in a heart beat!

There should be a nut there to hold while you turn fitting , I cut a wrench down in length so it would fit go slow I think it will work if you don’t hold nut on gauge it will turn gauge !!!!!! I left gauge in dash just unscrewed dash for more room pulled it out just a little bit be careful not to move to far out lots of wires behind there!!!!! Not sure how your dash is so not sure if you can unscrew it or not but just look at it you may be able to get to it with out unscrewing dash you got the elbow out so I think you can do it!!!

yeah I thought about unscrewing that right off the back of the guage .. worried about pulling the guage apart inside the panel though as I can’t see how to hold it

Jim, solenoid valves are typically rated for intermittent or continuous duty. If you have one getting very hot I suggest the first thing you do is determine if it has power to the coil at all times, and if it does is the coach designed that way?
If it is supposed to have power to the coil at all times then you need to insure the valve is rated for continuous duty. I suspect it is not supposed to have power to it at all times. That is a case where ordering for continuous duty is no problem, but the reverse could be.

If you can’t get the right fan, I got my power supply from Mouser.com Make sure if you have to order one it is the right number. They make two. One with a constant fan and one with the temp. regulated one. The temp. regulated is the right one. Otherwise the fan runs all the time…annoying.

hey Jim! The best place to get a new Mac valve where they Make it right on site is Buchanan automation…800-426-8313… They made two for us an over nighted them lickity split!
