Like I said, “regular” trans fluid from NAPA or anybody else works fine. You just don’t have to have a pump, just fill filters up out of the bottle. An old truckers trick that has worked over the years.

Every time Jon sees our bus at ETLC, he starts drooling. I know he is old but I think it is because he covets our Country Coach.

I keep the CB on all the time and occasionally there will be some chatter. The few times that I have had a question about traffic on our a route, I’ve received a info back.

What the Hay Harry. You mean there isn’t a Cat called Santa? I was hoping for a wheel barrel of Benjamin’s next Christmas to keep my Dinosaur running. I guess there is always robbing banks. See you in the Pokie.

We replaced the bearings on ours. There was no coupling though… so maybe it’s not the same.

Thank you for the positive input Diane.

My wife does drive and does appreciate quality. I think she will come around sooner then later. I already see her getting interested.

Firstly, welcome to the land of “real” RVing… you just made a very good choice..Jeff will do whatever you want to make it “yours truly” !!

We did a similar thing years back.. we went from a HR 45′ 4 slide coach to a 1998 Prevost H3-45 with two slides..I really thought Larry had “lost it” !! I wasn’t a happy camper at first.

That’s right I said at first..I have always been a very “hands on” RV owner and it took one trip for me driving the bus to see what he was talking about and I wouldn’t go back for anything… the safety factors alone speak for themselves but these coaches are built to cruise..I had NEVER felt so safe and secure at the wheel… everything was so rock solid.. it’s not even comparable to a “plastic coach” after she sees how it’s built I am sure she will have a change of heart.

We previously owned Bluebirds and Newell Coaches and I can safely say there is NO competition between any of them compared to a Prevost.. time will tell. If she drives it as well she will see much quicker what the differences are… if she doesn’t then time will tell.

Again congratulations to you both and we hope to meet you on down the road.

    Cheers, Diane

My Webasto kept us toasty at 28 degree’s at Christmas time, but I only have 1 slide. I only have 3 cabin heat exchangers and 3 kick heaters. You kind of have to find the combination that works best. As an example, I don’t have a heat exchanger in the bedroom, kick heater only. Up front at the steps I only have a heat exchanger, no kick heater. We supplement the front with a portable heater.

I agree with Buddy, the fan capacity for the heat exchangers are wimpy at best.
