Jeff, Thanks, this solution was tried before by others on the forum (2015 thread) and did not work apparently, very annoying

What kind of warranty do they have? That’s a lot of money for batteries that could fail in 2 years? for some reason Inverter- Voltage regulator? So a set of 4 8d’s could be 8 to 9 thousand dollars, is that correct?

Probably the wrong thread to ask this question, but I am confused.

Jon states 3 Prevosts owned, Tom 7 Prevosts owned. Yet they always talk about how long they last and how good they are. If this is true why have they had so many? Do they break them, wreck em or what??

Plus how expensive are they to maintain, Jon grows his own food due to lack of funds, Tom sells batteries, TPMS systems, and collects dues money and won’t share with Jon.

    Are they misleading us?

Thanks Chris. Although that is a nice looking bus the kitchen kills it for us. Because of the desk there is almost no counter space. Space for food prep is very important. Thanks for posting that bus.

    Reese,

I have always had to scroll through to see each tire’s psi and temp. But it monitors all of them constantly and will give you a alarm if you get low pressure or high heat or lost signal from sensor. The parameters for a notification are adjustable.

Roy, You and Jeff may already have confirmed this, but verify you have pure sine wave inverters. Some new electronics, especially refrigerators will not do well on modified sine wave inverter power.

KVH is never a good choice for RVers. As the OP noted, he has had to connect via computer to even make changes other manufacturers handle with a dip switch or controller setting.

KVH comes in 4th in a field of 3 when it comes to satellite TV antennas for RV’s.

Will the Freedom 458 charge these?

Less batteries, less weight, less gen charging time and more cycles.

They’re not for everyone and it will be up to the owner to decide. You can view the specs here to make an educated decision: Relion

Mae west vs double flare airbags, REMEMBER? I’m surprised to be the first one here to mention this: for yrs Prevost Parts was selling the wrong replacement front airbags. The wrong front airbags will NOT raise the bus above normal travel height. Here is a PC thread link about it: Link

John, this is speculation, but it is based on a similar problem I dealt with several years ago on a coach.

It sounds like you have verified the rotary switch and the rocker switch are getting power and that power is getting to the solenoid manifold stack. It also sounds like you have or can easily verify when those solenoids get the electrical signal they are opening and sending air pressure to the various Norgren 3 and 5 port valves that control the level low functions.

The next step is to verify the air pressure from the manifold is reaching the appropriate Norgren valve. The service manual and pneumatic diagram accessible from the Prevost Car site will help you identify which valve should be getting control air pressure, and where the valve is located.

If you have required pressure to the valve plunger or actuator port the spool inside the Norgren valve should shift and open or close air flow as required.

Your problem in my opinion relates to the air supply Norgren and it is possible your pneumatic system has or has had a moisture or water problem and the Norgren that is causing the problem may be hydraulically locked or may have built up corrosion (like a paste) preventing the valve from shifting.

There may be another cause, but if you start at the switches, verify the solenoid manifold operation is correct, and that air is getting to the associated Norgren valves you will have along the way identified the problem.
