PressurePro Pulse Monitor
Took delivery of 2007 Marathon Coach #1025 this week. The dealer installed the PressurePro Pulse system with 4 additional sensors for our tow. The antenna is installed mid coach in one of the bays. On our trip home I would turn on the PressurePro Pulse monitor and it would shut off after approximately 5 minutes or less. When the monitor was on the tire on the steer driver’s side would show temperature and PSI. If I wanted to look at the other tires I would have to press the up or down arrow to move to the next tire.
Question time. Is this normal monitor behavior? What do I need to do to keep the monitor on continuously while driving? What do I need to do to have the monitor scroll through the tires automatically?

I’ll check with my Distributor, I don’t recall if there is setting for the display going to sleep or not. If they mounted the antenna inside a bay instead of external you may have signal loss. Also, if you don’t like the Pulse, you can easily switch to the FX for mobile devices and use the same cable connection. To do that I would need to determine what sensors you have.

I have always had to scroll through to see each tire’s psi and temp. But it monitors all of them constantly and will give you a alarm if you get low pressure or high heat or lost signal from sensor. The parameters for a notification are adjustable.

Honestly, scrolling through the tire pressures and temps automatically could drive you nuts after awhile. I much prefer a green light or other indicator and only an alarm when there’s trouble as previously stated. Much less distracting. It still gives you what you want; peace of mind.

That is normal operation for the PP. It will shut down after a certain amount of time. I would also prefer the display to be lit, asked the dealer about it and he said that was normal, no way to continuously display. Also for scrolling through to view is normal. It will alert if the pressure falls out of set parameters.
I have had two vehicles now with the PP. If I was to do it a third time I would prob look at what else was available.

I’ve had the pulse for a couple of years and despite my original concerns it has worked well.
For almost a year I verified the pressures shown by manually checking with a digital gauge of known accuracy. It was a pain but the pressures always agreed or within 1 PSI so I know the accuracy is excellent.
I tow multiple vehicles and the ease of selecting the bus and one of the toads or the bus alone is easy and makes it very valuable to me. I know if a toad loses air in a tire without a TPMS I would not likely know until some damage had been done.
The antenna was an issue with the original, but the one now used I ran from the dash down under the coach and mounted it on a fuel tank cross member. Now reliability of the readings is excellent with an occasional 15 to 20 minute loss of reading on one of the toad rear tires.
The display goes to sleep after a while so all you see is the green power light until there is a fault. If there is a fault like a lost reading (now rare) or low pressure or high pressure or a high temp the screen displays the fault and sounds an alarm.
The only complaint of consequence is the alarm is not loud enough and depending on the sun or light conditions I have trouble seeing the display.
