Yes, I was someplace where you started a concert from the roof of your bus while a lot of beverages were flowing down below. It was a big hit. Maybe a maintenance seminar?

    Mois,

Re-read your post and take note of the statements you say are a guess and opinions. I will be the bad guy and shut down any discussions about the virus if posts are little more than guesses, opinions, speculation or information that has been repeated endlessly.

This is a site dedicated to Prevost enthusiasts and unless there is solid gold information supported by facts relative to our use of the coaches the conversation is going to be deleted.

There is nothing but a frenzy going on now as a result of what is turning into panic and I don’t want this site being a part of it.

Don’t blame Tom for my position on this.

Thanks so much for the PDF. I was having a hard time reading the legend on Jon’s paper on the site.

Airbags new in 2011 and mechanic says they look new. Air is absolutely coming from the ride height valve exhaust hose. Put a finger over it and noise goes away.

Your guess matches mine. 5-port is not fully closing and with key off the air is flowing backwards from the bags.

I am guessing that I hear it only at high height because the bag pressure is higher the taller the bags.

My alternator for house batteries is a leece neville with internal regulator set for 13.8V charge. I dont know what the 24v one is set for as I havent reached the one behind the engine personally to measure it.

Jon – ironically the 13.8 volt alternator is almost a safe charge voltage for LiFePO4 batteries without getting you in too much trouble.. . . . . But it isnt great for AGM, as it never tops them up.

The plumbers on here must be going crazy because those tank flushing systems and devices are so contrary to plumbing codes around the country it is a wonder anyone is allowed to have them.

Does anyone really think they actually clean their tank when using them?

I’m not trying to discourage any purchases, but if you like the coach you realistically have to consider the risk (possible serious repair costs which may not turn up for quite a while) versus the reward which is getting a coach you really like.

Most sellers will describe the coach as well maintained, and if that is the case and they can prove the other maintenance was performed your risk goes down, but given the wet pneumatic system I think that evidence will be lacking.

Here is a reason for listing converter and coach details along with location.

There may be another knowledgeable member in close proximity to poster that could help the poster correct his problem.

I would think a requirement for a signature with valuable information would be a good requirement for posting on the forum. Just my 2 cents which dosen’t cover my dues payment.

    Moshieh

it looked ok from the street 15 ft away. It does have OTR as you probably know.

When we get back next, we’ll go over to scrutinize a bit closer

My experience (about 7 axle seals) has been that stemco is a far superior product over Scotseal. Stemco also has a proprietary locking/torque nut supposedly easy/foolproof to use.

I saw it on Fakebook and thought it was a great idea even though some find fault with anything.

How much fuel do you have in main tanks ?

I’am sure your aware as fuel gets low in main tanks the generator is first to shut down.

Just going back to basics …
