Yes, couple of bad tests as I recall. I believe one was fuel in the oil and one antifreeze, both on my 8V92. OOPS, forgot I just got another: 600+ ppm iron from the diff of my 2005 BMW Z4 track car.

I’ll be more specific. Does anyone have knowledge of a particular state or states not recognizing the converters new date for title and using only Prevosts Vin in the ’90s and early 00’s ? Particularly Texas ? The reason I ask is that our bus is a ’99 shell, converter Vantare and originally titled as a ’99 in Texas. Dukeflyer’s bus currently for sale on PC is a ’93 titled Liberty but the same as any other ’94 H. I’m wondering if His bus was originally titled in Texas also. Duke, I know you’re at least the 2nd or 3rd owner do you know ? Dave Wall ? Geo.

Lonestarace,
We don’t have those gauges. I’ve noticed that they have been removed on later models. Ours must be in the center cluster, I’ll have to check it out.
Since my alternators are working fine, I’ve not really checked on the gauges. Still learning.

Colt, just like any good attorney, will create a series of cascading LLCs, shell companies, off-shore entities, and agents to hide behind and continue to operate anonymously.

How long should the 2×8’s be? Construction grade OK? Or should it be seasoned, kiln dried oak?

2 yrs? That it? I thought they are reputable…I will reconsider.

Sounds like it is getting compression into cooling system if they see an increase in pressure, and if it was blowing out the pressure cap. As far as I can recall, wouldn’t only a cracked head or a bad head gasket, or a bad cylinder do that? If it is blowing out 2 gallons in less than 100 miles, there is a big problem brewing somewhere….

I am not in the US at the moment, or I would do it, but has anyone thought of emailing or talking to the guy and asking for the VIN so you can run a Car-Fax on it? That would tell the tale really quickly. If he is a dealer, then he is used to people running Car-Fax on possilbe purchases.
Colt, with that Ferrari sticker on the tail gate, you probably should up your asking price by at least a hundred K to $175K.

The same thing happened to me on the way to Jeff Rowe’s shop. My I-phone gps had me turn off 321 on to Billy Bob Goat Shed road. It was my first trip there, it had got dark and snowed. The beginning of the road was wide asphalt and striped. In less than 100 yards this road necks down to a skinny little road with a 4′ ditch on each side. Drive 3″ off the white line and roll coach on its side. (Did I mention it was my first time I had driven the coach.) I thought I would NEVER make it down this road without hitting a power line, low bridge, or high center on a railroad track. As luck would have it a side road came in at an angle and made a wide spot in the road. I turned around with a little jockeying and got back to 321. Looked at the map and made it to Rowe’s on the main roads. Another lesson learned… I will have a road atlas from now on….
Will I ever stop learning lessons? I guess not. -
After I could no longer figure out which tool was in which bag, I bought a 5 drawer tool box at Sears and put it inside my generator bay, where I do have just enough space for the toolbox. I wanted to put the box on a slideout shelf, too, but have not found the proper hardware.
So, Dean, where did you buy the 300 lbs slides? And how much did you have to pay for them?
Thanks,
Ronald

Mine was doing something very similar recently. The pump would not shut off. When it first came on the light would come on indicating it was running. After pressure was built up the light would go off and the pump should have shut off but it didnt. Headhunter, and others told me it was probably an internal pressure switch malfunction. I ordered a new pump, almost $1200 (they will credit you back for half the cost if you have a sticker with serial number on it from your current pump that you can send them). By the time I got the new pump, my other one started working just fine. Still have the new one in the box. I think Jeff Rowe is going to buy it from me the next time I stop by there.
