yes, it is a good one to have. I like it because i know where i am as the torque value increases.

no trim removal. don’t waste time trying to save glass. not worth it. replace with 1/4 inch safety glass -single thickness. you won’t notice a difference in hvac. been there done this. Side note drivers side glass is differant measurements than pass side. the glass is held in with glass adheasive. Easy to remove with razor blade and slight pressure. need more info just ask? single pane safety glass was under $75.

After crunching the numbers the ventilation requirements are so small that most people would say that Jon was right. However, some ventilation is required. A sealed compartment would eventually become a bomb. I have photos of what can happen when people don’t provide ventilation for battery enclosures. Hydrogen is very powerful.
Disclaimer: The preceding discussion pertains to a specific model and number of VRLA batteries in a specific enclosure. Changing anything completely invalidates all calculations and assumptions.

Hi Bill – how can you tell if a tank is corroding (other than leaks)? Is that the SS ones also, or just aluminum? Are you familiar with the cost of replacement?

Well, all is good! Just wanted to update, turned out the OTHER Alt was bad as well! So now both Alt’s have been replaced and ALL is GOOD, Light went out! Don’t understand how both went out BUT Hey, who knows, all is good now!!

#3 – yes could be bad dash off/on/speed rheostat (lower left in my pic here). Ours has a detent (full ccw) that turns the dash fan completely off and closes the dash freon solenoid valve. Turning it cw opens freon valve for dash circuit and turn on the dash fan, faster as its turned further cw.
and/or bad temp rheostat (lower row center) and/or heat solenoid valve if there is one?. I haven’t looked in a long long time.

Also you need to look at your amp meters if you have them? On my Royale it has 3 roof AC’s front and rear are on leg #1 middle AC is on leg #2 the Electric part of the Aqua Hot 12 amps is on leg #1 plus a few other things Inverter/chargers are split leg #1 and #2 so on mine with all 3 AC’s and Aqua hot on, leg #1 was pulling like 38 Amps and leg 2 was 18 amps then if coffee pot or Micro Wave leg #1 was pushing the limit. so 1st thing I did was move the Aqua Hot to Leg #2 and Coffee maker to Leg #2 now when it’s hot out and running all 3 AC’s,Aqua Hot and she is making her afternoon cup of coffee leg #1 is around 30 Amps and Leg #2 is about the same. You need a couple of good digital amp meters to watch. If you have a older Refrigerator it will pull quite a few amps, My new Refrigeratorusing very little, It runs more but very few amps.
