Alison Transmission Mode selector
In searching the forum I find different info about mode.
My Prevost owners manual says the mode will select economy and mode will illuminate between the gear numbers.
My selector pad has PERFORMANCE embossed above the key pad. Some of the photos posted by others says economy.
Does this mean the default mode is performance and ones with economy are default economy?

The default as manufactured is economy. That is not to say a previous owner has not had it reprogrammed.

Mine has been changed at some point. Default is performance, mode selection is economy.

My ’98 40′ CC has economy as default and performance requires the push of the button. It pretty easy to figure out which yours is on any drive with some hills. Economy will slow you down quite a bit before the down shift happens along with about a 10 MPH speed reduction. Performance will kick in pretty quickly and keep you need your set speed on most moderate hills.
