Both MoSat and MotoSat are out of business. Support for the DataStorm unit is available but parts will become a problem down the road.

This link will give you the details and some of the folks who can support both the hardware and software:

To the best of my knowledge the CDL requirements are uniform across the country. The best one I found as relates to air brake systems ironically was the Canadian manual. I cannot put my finger on it, and if I do I will post a link. It did a very good job of both explaining the air brake system and outlining the pre-trip air system (brake) check.

Ask the question when you make reservations, I think they will only charge you extra for the number of people over the limit. If you are only staying a day or two probably not a big deal.

Settle down. Pete knows all our coaches have the same shake rattle and roll because of the Prevost chassis.

He was just pulling your Marathon chain a little and what did you do? You rose to the occasion!

I don’t know but I think the bags have an internal stop built in so if there is no air in the bag, your not completly crushing the bags.

Open doors -rear- right hand side of engine- is air compressor. On top of it part of the assembly is governer. A easily replaceable item. You will have plenty of warning of problems and they are available at truck stops and parts places everywhere. Common to trucking industry. I have not found it to be a high maintance item. Bob Sorry (brain lapse) back not top. Sometimes you just need to be looking at it!

I’ve had that problem in the past and have it once again. Haven’t yet fixed the current problem, but last time it was a bad connection at the grey metal box in the bay that corresponded to that thermostat.

Jon is absolutely correct, there are many variances to the fuel burn rate to the Webasto. For example, if you drink 2.583 cool ones per hour and the frig is set to 38.7 degrees F, and u keep the duration the door is open and cool air escaping to about 3.417 seconds per cool one then you could calculate a burn rate of .73 gal. Per HR.

    does all this calculate!!!!!!!!

    DKO,

What are your gauges showing? They tell you a lot of information. Are you seeing them stay steady while the air is exhausting from what I presume is the dryer?

Your bus air systems may be working perfectly and what you are hearing as air escaping could be the compressor cycling often because of a problem somewhere in one of the systems. Your repair bill shrinks in inverse proportion to how much information you can relate about your problem. In fact if it is your aux system that is leaking air somewhere causing the cycling of the compressor Prevost is not where the bus needs to go.

What does your aux air gauge show? Do you see the cycling of gauges up and down to match the air escaping from the dryer?
