Greetings! (No Loc, I am not dead.)

Last Friday I had opportunity to use my PC Napa Card for the first time. I am doing some maint. on the old hoopie and needed some filters and some other things. After checking prices at Truck Pro I headed over to Napa and found that I could (with the card) realize a savings of something in the neighborhood of 30-40 percent.

Which is a good deal. Thought I would pass this on to you guys, if you have not tried the card or are not using it, then you are missing out. On the big items it really pays off nicely.*

    Later,

    BCO

    * If you are hungry for some bus porn, I put some up on my webpage this morning and it can be found here:

Glen, You just click on the NAPA logo on top of the form page (on this site) and it should bring up the information you need to fill out. It’s a real savings, I use mine all the time.

Had my card for about a year, previously as an individual, now via PC and use it regularly. I am lucky as the only NAPA store within 30 miles is a member and actually get a kick out of my discounts! Imagine that.

I wonder if all NAPA stores have the same discount rate?

Rodger NO, I have tried to use it at my local NAPA’s and they just say were not honor it. With the reported saving it may be worth driving a few more miles.

If you haven’t visited BCO website you should, he is a very good writer, with amusing stories. He’s an excellent craftsman, words and projects.

Some will honor the card and some won’t. At each one I have visited that wouldn’t use the card, I told them I would go elsewhere. My closest local store wouldn’t take it, but then realized they should and made the change.

Any questions about the ins and outs of Napa, our own Boater Al is the guru and he loves phone calls, letters, e-mail and texts!

We’ll try to do a better job promoting the card so folks understand what the NAPA button on our site represents. The card is free, so go for it.

What……I’am a full price dues paying member here and now you want me to take, phone calls, e-mails, text messages. Talk is going around about raising the monthly dues again…..really.

You did get my check for this month, let me know if it clears. What’s a “hot check notice” in the mail mean ?

What happen to the free ride, complain about everything, free advice on how to run PC site, vacation pay, 4 day work week, my birthday off., my expense account ?

It is obvious from his post above that Boater Al is going to be a problem. Effective immediately we are doubling his membership fees.

Thank you, I appreciate it. If you want to read more go to the Private Forum above (believe it is oo the Home Page), there is a load of it there. All of it generic to this site.

But, wait, there is more, surely there are more BENE’s available for Al?

Actually, if memory serves me right, you can look the AITA card up on NAPA and they designate which of their franchises have bought into this promo….I would think all of them would, as I would just go down the street to get the better deal.
