I’ve taken many flights on a SR-22. Since I have no desire to learn how to fly, as a passenger, it’s comforting to know that should something happen to the pilot and/or the aircraft, under a worst case scenario, the pull of the handle can be a lifesaver.

CDL means COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE.

Are you a commercial driver. Coach Delivery or Entertainer Coach Driver?

If not you are not in the position to get a CDL.

You can be required to get the private operator license for your vehicle in your state. In most cases that means a B or Air Brake edjucated and or tested. Indevidual states may add something for weight.
CDL: You are working as a driver.

Private Operator: You have been ejucated and or tested in requirements to operate a big ass bus.

I would think that deteriorating foam insulation turns into a fine dust that can get sucked into the armature and this acts like sand grinding at the armature and brushes (if they are called brushes). This creates a larger gap between the brushes and the armature. Wears down the windings.

Sounds good to me so I will go with that.

In my 99 CC that foam stuff would crumble into a fine dust.

Mark is right and I try to never talk to anyone when they are hooking up the toad or doing a pre-trip inspection.

All it takes is a little distraction and a vital step in the process is overlooked and the next thing you know you are buying tires, or worse, a new toad.

Weve heard while towing Smart Cars suffer similar wobble. Remedy is to run a bungee cord thru steering wheel making an “X” configuration attaching bungee ends to seat frame

Hello everyone, I am in the process of purchasing a 1999 H3-45 Featherlite and happen to see the promotion Prevost is having on shocks and air bags. I called Prevost parts number, talked with a gentleman that gave me all the part numbers to order after giving him the vin but after reading thru several of the threads here on air bags I not sure he gave me the right number for the steer & tag position. 630258 is what he gave me, 630259 seems to be what it should be..? Also the front shocks 630134 is what he gave me but it is not listed anywhere I’ve looked. Anyone recently replaced everything that can give me the part number they used that worked as they should would be very helpful. TIA

6mm hose is easy. Grainger has it. they also have the 6mm to 1/4 adapter coupling as well. I believe you’ll have to get the T part from ISRI or europe (good luck). its easier to get a 6mm tee, and then adapt the 1/4 to 6mm (or vice versa).

To clarify my previous post a bit, I like all kinds of RV’s as well. That’s why I am also a Good Sam member. I get their magazine already and I get campground discounts at more places than offer FMCA discounts (at the same 10% rate). I just saw no value in now paying to annual fees for magazines that provide the same diverse RV information. I liked the specialty information provided by FMCA and usually signed up for membership for 5 years at a time. Once they became “just another RV” business, I lost interest.

I was reading this thread a couple days ago. Well guest what? The high temperature alarm on the refrigerator went off yesterday and both the freezer and refrigerator are hot. I cleaned out the coils and vacuum out the underneath (barely dirty) and the fan is running. After unplugging and cleaning underneath and then plugging it back in the fan will turn on after a minutes and will continue to run but after a couple of hours it still is not cold and then the high temperature alarm went back off.

Any suggestions what to check next?
