My backup camera quit working and I had to replace it. Installed the new and she fired right up.

Trying to use I70 go get East or West involves a 9 hour detour through Steamboat Springs. I think it’s about 250 extra miles. Picking an Interstate route North or South is a WAY better choice.

Thanks Pat, it’s a great opportunity for someone that can deal with one of their GA locations.

THANK YOU Jon, that explains away all the confusion in my head. Wow to convert from R12 to R134 appears to be expensive and out of reach of most RVer’s. Now when I read on coaches for sale I will understand what they have…
Safe travels

I guess I’m missing something? No aux air = no air lock, at least that’s how it works on our bus.
A common cause of being locked in or out is a door handle failure. Do a search here. One search I can think of is “Dorman 760-5206”. -
Thank you for your many years of service to the Prevost Community. I’ve enjoyed the knowledge gained from this site, meeting Jon and Tom and the spirited conversations. Best of luck!

I used a press to get them out, but a hammer and socket(or whatever) will work if a press isn’t handy.
I used a socket, and hammer going back in.
Good snap ring pliers are needed too.
Pay attention to the spacer placement/orientation when taking things apart. Make certain to put them back together the way it came apart so the pulley and the belt(s) aligned properly with the other pulleys.

Reset the breaker on the vertical panel above the engine start batteries. Red button. Inside pass side engine door. Hope this helps. Darrell

I agree with Tom. After 3 Prevost buses over 16 years I now have a Renegade XL on a Frieghtliner Cascadia chassis and I am very happy with it. It is nor Prevost but for what it is, it is very good.

My Grand Cherokee has the ride height. Have to go into the menu on the touch screen and turn ride height off and also make sure ride height is in normal ride height mode and not entry/exit or low profile highway mode.
Manual also suggest starting every 24 Hrs to top off the air system that controls the ride height.

The one with the handle is from ibp one without is power manufacturer
when painted you can’t tell the difference but once you put your hands on them you can tell. The ibp panels are a bit more sturdy.

Changing clogged fuel filters is not fun, but if you have algae sludge a substitute for fuel polishing is a lot of use of the coach.
But that likely is going to require frequent and unplanned fuel filter changes until the algae has been flushed out.
But right now we are only speculating as to the problem you described initially. If you find Alga is plugging your filters post what you find because over the years a lot of Prevost owners have the potential to experience this problem and this thread may help them.

I found them after Rush said no way to my job within the time frame we had. Internet search brought up 3:10 diesel nearby. Family owned business with the son sitting at the front desk. I drove over to talk to them and he was very reassuring about their ability to do the job right.

Our ’88 had a circulation pump in the rear by the Webasto and another in the front behind the bumper where the Cruiseairs were located (nearly impossible to access). It sounds like you have a similar setup and my just need to put a wrench on the hose clamp connections.

The place where I had mine stored for two years has close 60 units now. Possibly more. Gated, secure, wash bay, air station, dump station, 20A electric with option for 30A for additional fee. Liked the place a lot and never felt the coach was not in a safe and secure location. Solid owner, too. $325/month with the increase to 30A service.
Moved my coach home last year to my 30’x40′ garage that I am still trying to get the front closed in so I can keep the coach full enclosed. Plan to insulate, heat, cool, the building.
Will be selling my home and 2 acres in the next two years with plans to build a coach house on acreage.
