Does anyone have experience towing a RAM 1500 4×4 with ride height adjustment? I will be flat towing a 2020 RAM Rebel 4×4 but I can’t find anything in the owners manual that discusses what to do about the ride height adjustment feature. I am well versed in towing Jeeps but they don’t have that feature.

    Thanks for any advice

My Grand Cherokee has the ride height. Have to go into the menu on the touch screen and turn ride height off and also make sure ride height is in normal ride height mode and not entry/exit or low profile highway mode.

Manual also suggest starting every 24 Hrs to top off the air system that controls the ride height.

And…be sure to turn off the auto park brake feature and use the “retract the rear brakes for service” set up to ensure the parking brake does not automatically deploy while underway. Short story, the first time we pulled our 2019 Ram I thought it was possessed…every time I pulled forward in my driveway to leave for our trip the parking brake deployed locking the rear wheels. I phoned the dealer…no one had any idea.

    Good Luck,

I’ve been towing mine for 7 years now. Has the air ride! I typically just put in neutral and go! If putting the golfcart on, I wait for the suspension to level out, hook it up and put it in neutral and go.
