  • Detroit ddec pro driver

Posted by ed on January 17, 2020 at 10:12 am

Just picked up a 2nd Detroit diesel pro driver unit. It comes with a 6″ pigtail to a 14 pin connector which 7 pins are used. Wondering where this plugs in to get working ? This Is for a 93xl Liberty. I can’t imagine it’s the j1708 below the driver bay but it’s possible – if that is the case – then I need a 14pin adapter to that. But figure there must be some other connector somewhere that this connects to. Any help would be appreciate.

Yep, pretty sure that’s it and if so you would need an adapter.

Any idea why I have no power to the Detroit Diesel display ? It worked prior to changing batteries . Is it fused linked ?

Reset the breaker on the vertical panel above the engine start batteries. Red button. Inside pass side engine door. Hope this helps. Darrell

If the breakers in question are the ones located next to the 12v and 24v cutoff then they are all good . Were these the breakers suggested Paul or are there others ?
