Not knowing the geometry at that location could it have been possible that the coach was not at ride height when it rubbed?
-
Yes, only with driver air section, besides Prevost known air flow issue on driver side, controller display Temp adjustment to 72 or 70F it does not bring the temps down for optimal driving conditions.
Last trip I lowered temp to 63-65F while driving, it was better….did not lower to 55F yet, I thought I should start high and go towards 55F to test the tech suggestion, but this is not the resolution.
I probably need to do what you did, but need time to take the dash apart, where many say it is a challenge due to lack of drawings/how dash was initially put together by Marathon.
I could use some of your in work in progress pictures when you changed yours.Thanks.

I had aluminum wheels on the inner postition on the 2000 CC I owned and they caused a problem with the tire rubbing on the rubber outer fender skirt. Took them off and put steel on the inner and problem solved. It didn’t cause any rub on the inside, but I suppose it’s possible.
Were these tires run with low pressure?

Charles,
The previous owner of my coach swapped out the Amana for a GE. The GE has worked great with no issues since owning it. Sure glad the former owner took care of that … I can get you the exact Model number, ect., if you want.
We’re out West too right now (Wyoming), but I don’t know any other facilities besides Marathon in Oregon. I’m sure they would do a great job.
Call AAP in Virginia (Fred), a sponsor on this forum, who can furnish Cruiseair repair facilities nationwide.

Truk, unlike you…I have mirrors in the house and bus. Geo.

Looking good, Tom. I know ypu are looking forward to getting settled.

If Jeff’s any kind of businessman, he will have the owners bring the bill balance current in draws as he goes.

Thanks for the intel, George. I think I will change my reservation. In addition to what has been mentioned here, Trailer Ranch does not allow check in after 5:30pm, apparently since they want to guide everyone into their site.

Andy, if you are looking at that vintage Liberty take note of at least 2 items. If the waste tank has not been changed out…make sure it is…and not with a Liberty one. Also check to see if the CAC has been replaced…and not with OEM. If the bus you’re looking at is the one at ELTC, Jeff will certainly clue you in. Good luck in your search. Geo.

Thank You!
The coach I’m referencing is a 2006 Liberty XLII. Does it work in a similar manner to what you described?
