Hello! Bus Barn
I finally bought a house where I can keep the bus at home. We have been putting this deal together for a few weeks,but it all came together today. The original owner built a regulation racquetball court (20W x 40L x 20H). The just-previous owners converted it to a sort-of-basketball court. We will add 20 feet in length and a 14 x 14 door in the end. There is already 200 amp service in the outbuilding. No pit, and our dump station will be outside the door. But it is heated and cooled, and is full masonry construction with plastered block inside, brick outside. There is also a house in the deal, but I was sold with the outbuilding

Great looking palaces guys. There is nothing greater than having the bus a few paces away, out of the weather and plugged in to power.

It has been 8 months since my original post.
We have made a lot of progress on the house and the bus barn, but neither is finished. Everything takes longer (and costs more) than you think. The former gym has been elongated by 20 feet resulting in a 60 x 20 x 20 interior. We poured a new floor on top of the old concrete, built a connector to the existing three-car garage, and built a lawn storage garage next to the Bus Barn. The door is 14 x 14.
We have an extensive new driveway with sewer on both sides, water, and a Jamestown Advanced power pedestal.
Here are a couple of pictures from today. The next time I post an update I hope the bus will be inside!

Just once I would like to see what it is like backing a bus up a flat driveway and into a nice bus garage.

I don’t have a nice bus garage to back into, but I do have a nice concrete driveway to back down and into a dedicated concrete bus parking spot with dump station, soft water, and a lighted Jamestown Advanced power pedastal.
What’s really slick is when you’ve backed in enough times that you can back the bus into its spot in one continuous motion when the neighbors are watching. Then you know you’ve arrived.
PS: I wish Jamestown Advanced had a stock pedestral with the Prevost logo for the light.
