By the way, I took a closer look at one of the pictures and you can see “Carling” on the side of the switch. I bet you can find a direct replacement if the switch from Prevost doesn’t work out.

Featherlite, Marathon and Liberty have different systems.
This question needs answered by a Featherlite owner.

Steve, you are showing the only reason I would suggest the use of lifting the tag axle. Until Michelin has a tire design that addresses the tearing of the decoupling groove all sharp turns at low speeds should be made with the tag axle lifted.
But just to be clear I do not expect the tag axle to lift. At the very best it will carry less weight on both the tag and steer tires as a result of “lifting” and the rear of the bus is going to drop several inches lower than the drive height which means drivers have to be aware of much less ground clearance, especially if there are slopes to encounter or something normally easily cleared, such as parking bumpers.

You’re a hard man Glen!

Tom,
Yes, there was no leak when they took the flat tire off and yes the cover was attached to the axle with three bolts. I will look and see if there is oil on the inside but my guess is yes due to seeing how it slung oil up into the well well area. I noticed oil spattered on the drivers side of my toad as well.

The 5G – E is marketing nonsense by AT&T. It actually means nothing and it’s not 5G. They call it 5G Evolution but it’s no faster than any of the other carriers 4G. Other carriers have sued AT&T for their misleading advertising that it’s anything different.
Cellular speeds vary dramatically based upon how many folks are connected to the tower you are using. 3G can be faster on a lightly loaded tower than 4G on an overloaded tower.
Keep in mind that the G only stands for “Generation” so this is the 4th generation of the cellular technology but does not indicate speed or lack thereof.
5G will be a newer technology that most of us will not be able to use while traveling as the range of 5G is VERY short compared to what can be done with 4G.

I have used AAA for a few years and had no problems with them, so far. I was with Good Sams prior to that but we parted ways after they refused to help out with a flat on my stacker trailer I was pulling.

Amazon sells the Dorman 760-5206 handle for $235 + tax, free shipping for me(Prime member)
Hope it works? If not I’ll send it back. My current original? door handle works just fine so I haven’t been in there to mess with it.
Being a pilot for a jillion yrs taught me to: “Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst”, so I’ll have a spare handy.

Harry:
I use tire covers when I store my coach due to the intense Florida sun.
I got mine from a company in Lakeland, Florida that does make custom covers. yes they are more expensive than the Camping World plastic ones,
They run $85 a tire. They cover the tire completely on the exposed surface. On the top of the tire they make a pocket the runs down about 30% of the back of the tire. They also have a pocket on the bottom to put a weighted tube to keep from blowing off in the wind. Other ones I have used, you had to reach around the tire with an elastic strap. Not these. I am pleased with the product.
The also make covers for wipers and mirrors to match. And of course windshield covers.

One inverter makes your trouble shooting relatively easy.
With power to the inverter verified, then the next step is to determine if you have power to the batteries for charging and if you have 120V AC power to your electrical panel.
Output power to the batteries from the inverter should be at or slightly above 14VDC. Output to the house electrical panel should be 120VAC.
Start there. You do not need any panel but you do need to use a multi-tester to verify power output.
If you are getting power from the inverter as above, it could be a battery issue, but before jumping ahead into alternate causes take it one step at a time.

If the button is working, I would track down the breaker for the fan plug. Do you have the Techlon Node Relay drawing for your bus, mine shows the locations of all the relays.

Thanks Jon. The reply from Sandy nailed it. I found the breaker box in the ceiling of Bay 2. Breaker to the GFCI was tripped. As you stated, I suspected some type of shore power problem so I did fire the generator and checked the outlet but it was still dead. As to the reason the breaker tripped in the first place, jury is still deliberating. It hasn’t happened again. SOOOOO, the COO is happy

Shipshewana, IN, soon. There are many Amish people living and working there. We do look forward to meeting some of them because the dialect they speak, is very similar to the German dialect Gabi would be speaking at home.
When she is p***** off at me, I just claim to not understand her. You know what that will do … 🙂
We have met a few Amish people already a couple of times during our travels and most of the times, we can understand and talk to them in their dialect.
The last time we passed Amish people traveling by horse and buggy, they look over at us and gave us the thumbs up!
🙂 … 🙂 … 🙂
Cheers,
Ronald
