  • Bath Fan techlink relay in Marathon

Posted by Walter on June 15, 2019 at 9:52 pm

    Hi All,

anyone have any idea where the techlink relay box for the bath fan is on a marathon? Our bath fan is out… and that stinks!

the switch “works” but there is no 110v to the plug (I checked that)

If the button is working, I would track down the breaker for the fan plug. Do you have the Techlon Node Relay drawing for your bus, mine shows the locations of all the relays.

Nope – don’t have this drawing. Monday I’ll call marathon and ask them where to look. Thanks!

Since you provided no pictures of area. The Techron 1229 module that controls the bath fan switch is always connected to ribbon cable coming off of switch.

I can only relate to my Bath Fan on 2000 XL. The Tech Node 1229 which controls my fan switch is behind cabinet you face when sitting on toilet. This node controls 4 switches fan, switch lights, blank and bath lights in toilet area. You have to reset it by pressing the reset button. To do this remove the cabinet completely from wall You’ll dicover it behind a big open space behide refrigertor. Press reset. Lights will flash. If it fixes problem great. The relay box is in back of coach in closet on mine hopefully your labels are still intact if you press reset there your reset everything on that relay.

Research Techron on this site the guy that invented it for Marathon can help you for a small fee. The Techron system has a limitation on years of memory.
