Jon and Bob, thanks. I agree the position of the bus has a lot to do with the track overflowing issue, but I’ve also sprayed a hose and found that the seal is leaking as well.

We attended last year after acquiring what we affectionately call “Big Red”. Jon, Tom and Jeff did a great job and helped us with our jump to Prevost from Foretravel.
Worth every penny! And we met a bunch of terrific folks. Jeff and his team went beyond the call of duty and we even remember some of the stuff.

If the chart called for 85 PSI based on tire size and weight I would use 85 PSI.
I assume Michelin knows more about what tire pressures I need than I do. Why are there that size tire on such a low axle weigh? It is far batter to have all the same size tires if possible.

Andre ,
I found my dealer location by googling Michelin Advantage program . In the heading on the site there is a Tools category to click on which takes you to a dealer locator. It then allows you to search by several different ways and lists the all the services that each dealer offers. The Advantage symbol is a tractor withe a $ sign. Clicking on each symbol tells you what the service is. I’m in north Texas and there were many to choose from. The price last month for 315’s was $600. -
No list Andre, where are you looking?

Michael, I kind of know what you are going through right now as we were there 7 yrs ago. We had had a succession of “mainstream” plastic MH’s for many yrs and finally were fed up. We knew about Prevost but like many thought that they were out of reach for what we were willing to spend for something not condsidered a necessity. So, we bought a Featherlite Vogue 5000 and while a huge step from where we had been (and much better than a CC Concept),still a far cry from a Prevo conversion. Ironically, shortly thereafter we got our first Prevo and it was CC conversion, which turned out to be a great bus. There really is no comparison and there really are no stop-gap units. It is well worth the wait to find the right Prevo that suits your needs and your pocketbook. Geo.

The solenoid valves rarely fail, and generally when they need replacing they are leaking but still functioning.
If a person is looking to carry spares the first choice should be the solenoid valve coils. When they fail it is a sudden and total failure. Prevost installs 24V coils on these Level Low control valves, but Liberty Classic coaches typically have 12 volt, not readily available from Prevost so those are definitely prime candidates to be carried as spares.
I do not understand what is meant by 2 and 3 way valves. These valves when “open” (energized) supply air to the plunger on the Norgren 3 and 5 port valves, and when “closed” (de-energized) exhaust the pressure in that circuit.

ouch. selling a car collection is a big commitment.
I sent a “hint hint ” “you should buy a advertisement ” on the pc site email to Brad yesterday.! Lol
it couldn’t have been easier – and yes 20 year old were no problem. he can also do private purchase. Just needed a verification type of inspection to confirm the vin, ownership, etc.
In the case of a private purchase they would fund the sellers bank directly if there was a note.
Each time I thought I had to limit my choices I would call, get an immediate answer. I’m not sure I ever received an answer to my questions that I thought limited my choices or ability to get my particular deal done in the time line I needed.

Any details on how it was done?
I’m expecting the “Blue Light Special” jokes to start.

Peter I agree with what you said about the cold weather, last week here in Arlington,TX we got down to 15 degrees and the bus just set down in the back end. Dan I ordered mine off Amazon, but as Peter said I’m sure you can find them on Summit Racing as well. I also agree with what Jon and Peter said, start with one system and stick with until you get it as leak free as you can, replacing all push in fittings with compression fittings. Everyone have a great Christmas.
