Is there a source for Marathon wiring schematics on line?

Have not tried to call Marathon, still have not found a reason for 110v water heater not getting 110v at the thermostat. The outlet that bay heater is plugged in is labeled “Bay Heat” “Switched outlet” does not have voltage also.

That indicates to me when “heat is selected for cruise air(s) it would be selected also?

Do you have any lights inside the dash / cluster other than the power green light? Not talking about the rocker switches around the dash…

Have you done any work in the engine area? Check the rear start rocker switch, make sure is on NORMAL.

Yes I am familiar with that switch is right beside ignition. It comes on and lights up green but switch may be bad!

Does your bus have a dash switch that shuts down everything. This rocker switch is near the ignition key.

Are you familiar with what I’am talking about ?

How old are your batteries ?

    BTW where are you ?

    Jon,

There is something about your last message that doesn’t sound right. I’ll let you and Tom buy me a platter of bbq oysters this weekend.

Had them installed last night. This is a very important mod for the motor especially when you put miles on it. The vibration at the top of gear case over time will lead to the diamond seal gasket prematurely failing and causing a leak.

What you described as not working is the 12 volt side of your chassis electrical system.

Using a voltage tester check the voltages at the lugs on the bottom of the Vanner equalizer that should be located above your chassis batteries and to the right on the bulkhead.

The 12 volt reading should be 1/2 of the 24 volt reading within a 1/2 volt. If it is not the equalizer may be the problem. But if the chassis batteries were dead it may take some time to bring them back to life either with a charger or by running the engine. Give it a little time for them to recharge and the fastest way would be by running the engine on high idle. Be patient and turn off all chassis loads like GPS, Pulse, radio, etc.

If the 24 volt reading gets above 24 volts and you still do not have the 12 volt reading 1/2 of that you may have an equalizer problem and in that case I would suggest you either get one shipped to you to replace the existing one, or if you need to drive somewhere for service get a 12V battery charger and connect it to the 12V post and ground on the equalizer until the 12V reading is at least 13V. Avoid heavy chassis 12V loads like headlights, but other than that you should be OK to get it somewhere for repairs.

    I believe the filter/trap is a Bendix Type E?

I found it in Sec.12, Brakes, of my paper Prevost parts manual.

Prevost part# 64-0080 for complete unit, # 64-0141 for the gasket, and # 64-0073 for the element
