Aux System Filter/Water Trap
This air filter water separator is located in the stear compartment, and downstream(after) of the aux system tank, and upstream(before) of all the items that the aux air system supplies.
I pulled the unit apart and found it to be in need cleaning. I media blasted the inside and outside, painted the outside, polished all the brass/copper(I’m comin for ya Jon), reassembled and reinstalled it. The string type filter element was reusable, but I have a spare ordered. I believe it is a Fleetguard# FF244.Order of pics: before, during, after, element

I believe the filter/trap is a Bendix Type E?
I found it in Sec.12, Brakes, of my paper Prevost parts manual.
Prevost part# 64-0080 for complete unit, # 64-0141 for the gasket, and # 64-0073 for the element
