I looked hi and low and I don’t see any place for them, Front electrical box rear box duno, pulled cover off ATS box and I see the low voltage and hi voltage orange relay but non of these??

Chuck, CA’s require a lot of relatively cool air flow. Working against their efficiency are a few things. Liberty installs baffles beneath the coach to direct air flow so the air for cooling the condensing coil is not the heated air coming from the units. The baffles need to be undamaged, and maybe even removed if they are restricting air flow.

The second problem, and this is a huge one, is the windshield. Liberty has installed black privacy shades and if the coach is facing in a southerly direction the sun acting on those shades is generating more heat inside the front of the coach than any combination of CA’s can handle. Point the coach north, or get rid of the black shades and change them to white or a light color.

Advice about keeping the coach raised a little is good advice and wetting the surface under the coach cools that surface until it cools down by itself in the shade under the coach.

If the coach gets warm it is not only the air getting warm, but all surfaces in the coach. Try to get ahead of that by making use of OTR. Start the bus and let the OTR pull down the temps until surfaces are cool. That way it is easier for the CA’s to maintain temps rather than have to work to cool down the many pounds of warm interior surfaces.

Your CA’s are on two 50 amp legs, so if you reduce other loads you will have about 30 amps of current draw on each leg. Just remember you cannot control when the HW tank, aux compressor or some other items will kick on and add to the load so while running all A/Cs be aware you may not be able to have all circuits on.

A multiplex usually provides some insight through the message center.

But if there is no information provided there determine which module deals with those functions and swap with any other module except the master. If the problem goes away the issue is related to the module. When a module is relocated the system recognizes it is at a different “address” and teaches it how it is to work in the new location so there is no harm in moving them around.

If the problem remains the cause is elsewhere like a connection, relay, etc.

If the problem is fixed the issue was in the module so make sure the original module in the new location performs all functions required in the new position.

Use the Prevost web site for electric diagrams, and all information needed to get to the root cause of the problem.

My dad always told me if what you are trying to sell is not selling, you are asking too much.

The market seems to be frozen right now, or worse … in a free fall. I have sold in a downturn. It’s not a good feeling because as a seller, you never know when the market will hit bottom and turn up. The bottom always seem to take forever.

There will always be a market for our buses, we are addicted to traveling down the highway and camping first class.

But I don’t think we will ever go back to the way things were before. There are just too many things happening “behind the curtain” fighting against it.

ECM health update. Clarke Power reprogrammed ECM to Detroit Diesel updates which eliminates use of internal memory battery and connects it to chassis batteries where it should of always been. However , odometer could not be reset by them.

Contacted prevost tech again and it appears the problem is in the instrument cluster and needs reset using Volvo program with pro link. Called several sources in knoxville area and no one has it. Closet place is prevost nashville.

I`ll keep reaching out to places closer. Want make nashville trip anytime soon just for odometer since all other gauges are in operating normal. Positive note is that odometer is accumulating miles as driven which indicates it`s alive.

It is highly likely that you have a bad compressor relay or capacitor. They should both be mounted to the compressor. You can remove both and replace with a universal 3 in 1 hard start capacitor. It functions as both parts. If the fridge is older it will help kick it over better than original parts. Make sure you size it with the hp of the compressor. Very simple to install and available on Amazon.

After you scan for stations with your antenna, you have to also get your TV tuner to scan for stations.
