First check Circuit Breaker or fuse #24 in the drawer in your battery bay. That is power to the TV lift. The switches should work independent of the Crestron.
Won;t let me attach a PDF so email me for a print, you can also purchase all electrical prints for the Royale Coach here
If it dropped a bit while driving then it may not be an electrical issue.

So if I am to understand Jon’s point to assume that once you find the Coach and decide that on preliminary review it is the Coach you want to purchase. If you do the detailed inspection from an expert and they find repairs and needs of say $25K do you tell the seller that you want to purchase the Coach for the asking price reduced by $25K to zero the Coach out or have the seller address the inspection list before purchase?

To figure your Bus’s proper inflation pressures, You really should go by your actual axle weight. Your Steers maybe seem a little low?

Are they rebuilding the diesel engine, generator head or both?

Dave, We did the same thing you are doing on our last coach. This coach has an in motion Track Vision set up for Direct TV, which is not hooked up. So we would have to keep that or spend more money.
I have a clarification from Open Road Mobile. 129 is 300 GB hard cap. 159 will get you 800 GB soft cap and a throttle back after that. However, I would think it would be unlikely to use over 800 GB per month. Freedom Connect, what Open Road is calling the new service, the hardware cost 549 which includes an external antenna and a 4 G router. It is not only capable of using cell service but also public or private WIFI. We also use OTA and campground cable, but when you’re boon docking that won’t work. Still thinking. Thanks for the input.

If the coach is going to sit for a while, I would suggest periodically starting it and let run at high ideal for about 5 min. Then take it for a short drive, 30+ min. This will insure lubricant gets to all the seals etc and moisture is burnt out. I would do this when ever possible but at least once every 30 – 60 days.
Also if possible keep a trickle charger on the chassis batteries so they are not constantly going dead. If you don’t want the charger to run all the time you can use a high amp industrial timer to turn the charger ON and OFF so it charges only a few hours a day. If possible keep the unit plugged in so the house batteries stay charged. You want to cycle any slides, power awnings, cycle the water pump and toilet if possible. Cycle the leveling valves. Run your generator while driving and aux air compressor. Run the washer and all sinks a short time to keep water in their pee trap. then run your dump vales when your done.
Units that are only used a few weeks out of the year usually have the most service issues. Just my past experience.

I hired Gil to do the inspection of my Marathon shortly before expiration of the CPO warranty. He found some issues that ultimately saved me thousands of $’s. I’m a satisfied customer!

Early coaches were not fused and some members posted photos or reported the dangers. Later model coaches are fused.
I do not know the years. Follow the lines coming to and from the monitor.

Roy,
For what it’s worth. I stopped by my local CAT scale the other day with my new H3-45 (Marathon). As Jon stated, probably quite a bit of variation in converters, so take with a grain of salt.
Steer – 17,580 lbs
Drive – 22,340 lbs
Tag – 14,080 lbs
I found a weight ticket from the previous owner from about a year ago and the weights were almost the same. My coach was just off a trip (so fairly well loaded) with empty waste tanks, full fresh water tank and a full fuel tank. Make sure and disconnect a tow vehicle if you are towing. It will most likely show up with your tag axle weight. At least it does on a CAT scale.

Yes, that is an audio/video control panel. Looks like a Russound system panel.

Good Morning Marshall,
One of the very first and best upgrades was replacing our Gag with the K&H. Had already ordered it prior to taking coach delivery. Yes, 220v and no modifications were required. It was an easy less than 2 hour total time effort.

One way to check for head gasket is to fill up with coolant, leave coolant cap off and start the generator. After it warms up and the thermostat opens, if you see bubbles in the coolant it would indicate a head gasket problem.
You can also use a combustion gas leak detector (https://www.harborfreight.com/combustion-leak-detector-64814.html)

Pat:
What have you seen for signal strength in rural areas? T-Mobile and Sprint have always been weak outside of metropolitan areas.

Travel in our bus was mostly “as usual” this year. We use it mainly in our drag racing hobby. There was a lull last spring then things got going again. We even took it back and fourth to our 2nd home near Leadville CO in Sept because we weren’t in a hurry to get there and back. Two nine hour days in the Prevost vs one sixteen hour day in the Denali. We don’t take it to CO every year.
