Mine is a different style, but drove thru a thunderstorm in Oklahoma in May and the wind blew my passenger arm too far and it wouldn’t come back to center. It actually stripped the splines off of the wiper itself. I was able to retighten the nut enough to get it to work again. It’s a fine line, on mine, between too tight to work and too loose to work. Will replace both sides when I get back home. They’re 24 yrs old! They’ve held up a long time, Could use new ones.

I spent weeks one summer replacing most of what you listed and 100+ push lock fittings with compression fittings and all new norgren valves. And we still have the hidden fittings that just don’t leak enough to hear and can’t be accessed easily to check. My coach sat for 6 mos over the winter, and my main tanks never went below 60psi, but my auxiliary compressor would still come on at least twice a day in my building that is heated, but only about 50 degrees.

I’m not sure if it’s a typo or not, but if you’re a AARP member, you should be able to get Hartford insurance. I know different states have different carriers but was unaware that AAA insured vehicles. I thought they were more for roadside assistance.

Through AARP, we use The Hartford insurance with agreed value and pay $1800/yr. But that also includes our 3 other vehicles. We were not sure how they’d be with a claim, and unfortunately found out. They responded well and fixed everything back to original with no problems.
If your agreed value is 1.8 million, $4500, seems like a steal.

You don’t have any information as to what you coach is. I am going to assume it’s a Featherlite. If that’s the case Featherlite can rebuild the HVAC (basement) unit. Fair warning, it’s not cheap.

Currently moving a boat from Key Largo, FL to Prince Edward Island in Canada. During the trip up the coast there have been numerous boats big and small that have installed the wedged flat panel Starlink antenna (the $2,000 version). Everyone is raving about its performance both at the docks and underway. Although these antenna’s were intended for mobile use on land the boaters I have been talking to have had excellent experience with the Starlink at sea even in rough waters with salt water being sprayed on the antenna.
I am using the smaller Starlink mobile antenna on the boat I am delivering and it’s working flawlessly (even in 3-4 foot seas).

Some inverters like Victron can load share. That means the inverter can boost coach power from battery if demand is exceeding what the pedestal can provide.

I stayed inside the bus so I couldn’t see what was going on. There is no doubt I was anxious.
When I got home and saw how shitty the quality of the work was I wrote the experience off as a lesson. I plan to rewash it Thursday and hope I do not find scratches or damage. Right now I cannot bear to look for any.

My Bus is all NPT threads and Fractional tubing. No Metric anywhere on my Bus. I bought a set of Metric tools for my tool box and have since removed all of them.

I have replaced all my plastic on/off valves with sharkbite ones with no issues. I have used many Sharkbite fittings i my house too. The ones in my house are minimum 10yrs old with no leaks.
The old plastic on/off valves in my bus had to be replaced as the hot water side broke on the kitchen and lav sinks as well as the washer. It’s always fun to have water running out if cabinets!!!

With the torque a Detroit Diesel puts out … probably steeper than you (or most of us) want to tackle!
