PREVOST EMBLEM
Posted by joel on April 15, 2024 at 2:46 pmThe blue prevost emblem on the right engine cover door is getting loose. I don’t see any screws inside the door but the door appears to be of two layers. Are these things stick on or bolted?

There are at least two smooth posts on its backside which are secured by some type of push-on clip.
I just ordered the “Prevost” sign for bus barn storage wall art.
You could order the clips from Prevost parts, yet I would want to inspect to ensure one post has not broken. This of course assumes the design is / was the same.

Mike:
That’s a tight fit between the walls, how do you get out of the bus?

Nice!
Mike, is that custom paint over the original?
Also, please let us know how to do the same.
How to remove/reinstall.
Thanks in advance

They come off pretty easy, i used one of those tools used to remove door panels. There are 3 posts on the back and you just work the emblem off by going to each post. I sanded mine down, filled the gaps, primed and painted. The black is the same as my grill and the green is the light green on my bus. It brings a modern look.

I just wrapped up 3 coats automotive automotive clear all my plastic on the outside of the bus, Lenses, Markers, reflectors, etc etc. The Sun is very damaging on the plastic.
