    Dale,

I’ve been thinking about a back-up for my aux, what is the cut-in and cut-out PSI and is it adjustable?

Uhhh, I think you may need to decide if you have an Over the Road air conditioning compressor issue or a compressed air issue.

The ebay compressor you have shown will supply compressed air to all the suspension and brake functions as well as pressurizing you auxiliary system.

The air conditioning compressor compresses refrigerant in order to cool the bus while on the road.

Mine will come on if I am running the engine and the generator at the same time as both are trying to charge the batteries. I have no disconnect at this time to prevent that, but I will have!!

6,100 hrs on my 17.5KW,. I will remember to run it hard and run it often instead of trying to try to keep the hours down thinking it will last longer!

I have used a Jun-air brand in two Prevost buses. They are quiet and run on 120v. My recommendation is to contact Coach Worx in Clearwater Fl. for the latest model number and source. Ask for Rick May or Mike Bell.

I guess title = question and answer. Much like a vent on a single action cylinder. Who knows the reason someone removed them?? or maybe they muffle the sound of air discharge. Bob

I trash them as soon as they leak. Once a compression fitting is tight I almost never have an issue with leaking. Cannot say the same with push on.

To add to John’s remarks, you can add liquid at the receiver and when the system is charged pretty close to the correct amount the liquid should be about halfway up the lower sight glass.

John is the resident AC genuis and what he says you can rely on.
