Good point Mike, however in this situation I gotta believe that there was simply no peer review for the technical writer doing the schematics in 1998. The circuit just couldn’t provide the needed functionality if it were wired the way the schematics shows.
Regarding CC changing things, I would love to get schematics from 1999/2000. My CC manual has schematics back to 1993 and nothing newer than 1998. My bus is a 2000 conversion of a 1999 chassis.
I would disagree, Country Coach did an amazing job with their documentation and they sent it with their busses. Other Converters not so much.

That’s scary you could clean it up, add bus bars get everything off the batteries, I had way more cables in the early days, since then I’ve been Simplifying things

According to Michelin, clean tires with a gentle soap. They are opposed to the use of solvents or harsh cleaners and do not want tire dressing applied to the tires.

Mine groans, always has, changed my fluid a filter 2 or 3 times over the years.
Others owner of buses of the same vintage as mine say theirs groan too.

When I noted spending around $100,000 above the purchase price it was bringing a coach I knew was ill maintained back to par and doing things like a complete rebuild on the HVAC basement AC unit and the two Cruisair’s, plus replacing aged interior mirrors etc to bring the coach up to a mechanical and cosmetic level acceptable to us.
As Jon notes; finding a coach with maintenance records is priceless because you have a much better understanding of what you are purchasing and what you need to replace now and what can be replaced down the road. I took the calculated risk of buying a coach without records of maintenance and knowing I was buying a hole I had to dig out of. Just ended up the hole was a little deeper than I expected. After 6 years of ownership I have a in-depth knowledge of my coach (perhaps more than I expected) and a now dependable coach to enjoy for many years to come.

It is likely no two accessory air systems are alike because not only does Prevost have variations, but the converters are using accessory air and those conversion systems are different.

Taking it to a dealer that can diagnose it seems to be a step he has refused to take. Why waste time asking people who will not know when a dealer can tell him what is going on. We can all tell tales of what we had happen with our engines or transmissions, but unless he gets it diagnosed, he isn’t going to know what it is, or likely be able to fix it.

On my first bus I spent far too many hours attempting to isolate and fix leaks. Never again.
Now, being old, lazy, grumpy, and less patient I use a scorched earth method of fixing leaks. I just replace every valve, all push in fittings and anything else that might leak, including air bags every 10 years.
In between like everyone else I realize I am leaking again, but as long as the leaks are not catastrophic I accept them as inevitable and wait until the parts are 10 years old and start again. One thing I do now is only use Swagelok compression fittings because they are the only ones I have ever used that are leak free 1% of the time
