Thanks everyone for all of your suggestions. You’ve been a tremendous help. Looks like we’ll try to get the PDI done at Taylor Tours. and we’ll be there for the inspection. Nothing like flying across the country and back twice in two months. And a third to pick up the coach. Whew!

Jon, the aluminum holding tank was a concern of mine and still is. I have a call in to Liberty to see if the tank was changed out at any point. If not we’ll get that done. I hear what you’re saying about the blackout cockpit shades. The coach has a custom snap on outside windshield sun cover. I hope that helps keep the heat out.

This may sound stupid, and I’ll admit I’m somewhat ignorant when it comes to coaches although I’ve done a lot of homework in the past couple of years. I understand the Winegard in motion satellite systems, but what do you use when you are stationary? Does it work in motion and stationary?

will keep you updated on the progress of the sale. Thanks again. You guy are the best!

Just like the Liberty’s that have port and starboard power connections and those plugs are 3 wire.”

I think (gulp) Tom might not be completely correct in his assessment. Its my understanding adapter pigtail is a four wire (a pair of 120volt wires, ground, and neutral). While there are only three prongs on the plug, the fourth wire is attached to the a metal contact surface on the circumference of the plug. I looked at the wiring diagram for a Marinco plug (no cord or cable) like the one used for this pigtail and the instructions depict where to fasten the four wires. I don’t think the neutral and ground are tied together.

I hope that no one infers I’m saying that Tom is wrong, far be it for me to say “Tom is wrong”; I just don’t think his assessment is completely correct.

Harry, my first choice to get a pigtail like the one that Tom found for you would not be an auto supply store. I don’t want to discourage you from using the NAPA discount card you obtained through this website. I’ve found that lots of things, especially plumbing and electrical stuff, comes from the big boat/yachting industry. Marinco seems to be one of the top vendors to that market. NAPA is great for chassis batteries as well as probably brake chambers, filters, fluids, and even bags. There is only one reliable source of house batteries and that of course is Tom Chilcotte.

Harry, any retro-fit is possible…how big is your check book? check with Jeff, he’s replaced plenty of reel cords. Geo.

Had exact same thing happen to me this summer with a 365 on my tag. Picture shown was identical to mine. Thankfully I caught it before it created a major problem.

Michelin makes their tires globally. Jeff showed me the country of origin on several tires he had and some of the same size were produced in the US and France.

Different than ours. Both our lavatory faucets are three pieces; two individual faucets and a single spigot.

Have you tried calling or emailing Bill in North Chicago or Troy in Stuart?

This is very busy time of the year. I would not judge one entity versus another simply based on a one time experience. I admit, these guys are supposed to be busy and efficient at the same time.

There are a few who continually rise to the top and who have highly selected inventories from which to chose.

Most of these support this site… and other ventures related to Prevost.

I’m confused… Didn’t we already identify the air is escaping from the valve with the red handle? In the full off position (the position ETLC put it) air is escaping. If I turn the handle down a little the air stops, if I continue to rotate it down to the bottom position the air comes out and is much greater. So either way I need to take the bus back to ETLC.

Glens, I didn’t take the belt covers off yet. I was waiting until November 1st when I move the coach to its new location where it will be easier to work on.

This valve has nothing to do with Jake brake right?

Hi Ben, thanks for taking on these questions about LI batteries. My coach has a separate 160 amp alternator to charge the house batteries and I have the two Freedom 25 as well. I do dry camp frequently and my Freedoms are still working perfectly. It would be nice to have the extra charge strength and longer life (if that’s the right way to look at it) that Lithium would provide but I’m not sure if it makes sense cost wise to up grade, especially if I would need new inverters to pull it off.

I think if the picture of the panel showed the inverter remote panels as well as the circuit breaker switches we would have the answer.

Or at least know where to look.

I took a closer look at the photo and on the LH remote no Ac input is shown. If we could see the battery #1 and 2 switches both in the on position as well as all 4 air conditioner switches in the on position I think the answer might be within reach.
