Liberty lavitory faucets?
Posted by Chas on November 8, 2017 at 1:27 pmDoes anyone know what the manufacturer of hardware liberty used back in the late 90’s for their lavitory faucets where? Logo is a circle that is half blueblue half red.

Sounds like the Delta Logo unless I misunderstand your comment.

Grohe is what was in our coach.
Do you have a leaker? I had a couple of leakers.
I got a replacement from Plumbing Parts Plus in West Allis, WI. Ask for Glen. These are really high end faucets. No “kits” to replace the guts, as I recall I had to replace the entire cartridge. Also as I recall they come in left-hand and right-hand cartridges, but Glen had only one direction when I was there two years ago. These are pretty high end fixtures; its a Liberty … what else would we expect!

Ill look up Grohe and see if that’s it.
In the meantime, here is a picture of the faucet. Need to replace the water feed lines. Faucet internals are all good, just the feed lines that are at issue.
They have a standard 3/8 compression fitting on the end that attache’s to the shut off valves, but has a (I believe) 1/8″ NPSM thread on the faucet end. One has a short threaded nipple and the other line has a longer threaded nipple. None of the supply places knew the manufacturer of the faucet (even brought it with me).

Different than ours. Both our lavatory faucets are three pieces; two individual faucets and a single spigot.
Have you tried calling or emailing Bill in North Chicago or Troy in Stuart?

I think it might be Peerless

Peerless it is! That’s the logo I have on the hardware.
Thanks, that will let me get closer to getting the exact specs for the hoses.

So after much searching and very little results, I finally gave up on “repairing” the faucet. Of course replacing the entire faucet meant I had to replace two (double vanity bath setup with the shower in the middle).
Stayed with the chrome finish, but wanted something that was as solid as what was there. Seems most stuff out there isnt as nice as the price tag says it should be.
Found a nice Delta setup. Solid body (not a two piece body), chrome and looks nice in the coach.

Looks nice. Appears to be good solution. The Grohe fixtures we have at both lavatory sinks look really nice, but have separate faucets for hot and cold water, which I don’t like because it takes a while for the water to change temp as you adjust. I like the single handle like you have better. Good job!!
