Ahhhhh. I didn’t realize you were in the park that long. Now it makes sense to me. Thanks for clarifying.

Not necessary. Neither of my coaches have had one. I would not worry about it.

Thank you all for your most kind prognostications, supposition and outright tomfoolery!

Jim Lane of “ColoradoBus” fame, again rises with his great intelligence, wisdom and a advanced sense of all things Beaver Coach! We all salute you sir! And for all of you making fun of “Silver” I can only say this…

May a progressive Zoo-Keeper place you in a Gorilla-Cage clad in a yellow banana scented jumpsuit!

Thank you Jim, I was going through my notes last evening to see who had given me the 8V92 Silver information before? I found out of course that it was you! So again kind sir my Prevost Community hat is tipped to you. Said hat was presented to me at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant by no other than Jon himself. And yes, the proper pomp and circumstance was followed by touching each of my shoulder with the Sword Excalibur! I remember the manager saying “hey, where’d that old dood get that sword”? I’d of thought the red beaded robe and the background music of Sweet Georgia Brown, would have given him away first!

Peter in Maine said “Harry, Most interesting thread in 5 years. Keep it coming. My 2 cents.

I’d like to personally reach out to you Peter and thank you for your advanced intellect and firm understanding of all things right, reasonable and just!

And when I said in an earlier post “I’ll not post anything more to this thread!” Sorry to dash your hopes… 🙂

I’ll be calling Clarke again soon for my daly update, this is the 7th day! Anybody want to guess what this witch-hunt will cost me?

I just spoke with Clarke and was told that all wheel sonsors are fine. As they were checking another sensor in the engine compartment they noticed a loose/cut wire which they fixed and are now out on a test drive to see if that was it. I’ll keep you posted!

Stopped by the coach this weekend to say Hi. Another mystery solved. Operator error. My coach does indeed have standard R134 quick connect fittings. The cap I took off a few months ago was the cap covering the access to the king valve shaft. I totally missed the small cap covering the standard R-134 port. It must of been dark or I had my sunglasses on indoors, uuhhmmmgghhh. Or more likely I was just having a stupid moment.

Thanks to Lonestar and others for all the advice. Yes, I am familiar with king valves but for some reason at the moment, maybe because they were in a different configuration than I have worked with before on home ac units, I did not recognize what I was looking at. Here again I invoke the possiblity of a stupid moment.

I do have an Infinicon electronic refrigerant leak detector and offer to help any one local track down a pesky leak that they can not find otherwise. The thing is very sensitive and works great and helped me more than once on home and auto ac issues.

I forget sometimes that you don’t have to have an “Older Coach” to have problems. I also forget that many of the systems are the same or similar. I know the 8V92 is a different animal, but we all still have filters, breakers, tires, batteries, dump stations etc. So much more in common than not!

And thanks for giving Dick the answer, he’d of never gotten it! 🙂

I have done so on two previous Prevosts from 2 different dealers. Neither that you mentioned. I would be shocked if they would not assist in that, assuming you had a contract on a coach, and not just kicking the tires.

Alex has an 01 Marathon H Mikee, no slides, so he don’t need no stinking aux air, just Marathon air.

If you have air bladder seals on the slides aux air is very important to prevent water intrusion. So if you have slides you do need aux air if you have air seals. Another reason you need slides Tom.

Brett, I can tell you, you will not find a better coach than this H that AL had previously owned. I have not known AL that long, but I can tell you no one takes any better care of their coach than AL does. All the upgrades he made to the coach are top notch. If you have not seen the pic’s of the roof coating that he had put on this coach you should ask to see them. It was done the right way and not cheap. If an H will work this is one you should look very hard at. Just my honest opinion.
