Last years show(the first)was an unqualified success. 11 coachs sold and undoubtably more sales afterwards. This year it looks like almost all regular Prevost sellers plus many of the companies that sell products and services for our coaches are participatating. Looking to be a don’t miss event for anybody thinking about a Prevost. You can find a vendor list on POG.

I suspect you can only see information about the Tampa event if you are a member of POG, I was about to join POG when fortunately I found PC. I decided to join PC, better initial deal, and found to be very informative and not censored.

I suspect much better overall experience. I read about every post on this site.

We are I learning and hope to be into a Prevost in the 11/2014 timeframe.

Watch as many sale sites as I know of on a daily basis.

We’re in the same situation you’re in … looking for a Prevost. A close friend of mine had four or five Liberties back in the 80’s and 90’s … went on many trips with him so I knew “a little” about Prevosts.

We organized a trip to Florida from Wisconsin around the show, talked to Jamie ahead of time, based on his recommendation booked a room at the hotel across the street from the convention center.

It was sell worth the time and the effort. Got to see lots of different coaches by different converters and listen to the pros and cons of each in a short amount of time.

As a result of the All Prevost Show we know much more today that has helped us narrow down what we’re looking for.

We spent a day at the RV show at Florida State Fair Grounds nearby, checked out a coach at Parliment, spend a few days at The Villages with relatives and ending up looking at five more coaches in Lakeland, Wildwood, and Lady Lake.

Highly recommend it.

The next project is a 57 Chevrolet Dually with a flatbed rack body on the back.

A friend of mine takes projects that people tell him they are to far gone and creates daily drivers, the silver truck in the background of the bucket is one of those projects he did for himself.

then I went to Hunter N.Y. And got a 50 ford F1 that was sunk in the dirt in a barn that another friend had learned how to drive on many years ago and he rebuilt that into a daily driver.

Good observation, you realiized you can actually mention POG and Prevost-Stuff on this site without fear of deletion. Our goal is to provide any and all information or sources to help folks with any Prevost related subject or interest.

Paul, I think any large and varied collection of Prevost coaches that you can look at is going to make you a more prepared buyer. With the experience of having been in a variety of coaches you develop an understanding of the various floor plans and how the floor plan, the type of coach and the systems work for your specific needs.

At a busy show where the object is to sell coaches it is going to be difficult for you to spend a lot of time with the salesmen because they just cannot addord the time. It is almost impossible to get objective information from owners, because they aren’t going to wander around the show room floor with badges identifying themselves as owners.

The show will be valuable in the sense that the photos you see on the internet will make a lot more sense. But the best way for you do make an informed purchase is to try to get to any large gathering of coaches and their owners. Even owners tend to be biased and protective of their coach’s reputation so you still have to do some of your own homework, but at a rally for example when you run across those who have owned multiple coaches you tend to get very good information to help you in your future purchase. Those who have owned several coaches from the same converter prove by their actions how satisfied they are with that converter. Those who have owned multiple coaches from different converters have a unique ability to offer comparitive information. You get this at rallies and instead of someone posting a response on an internet site, you get a one on one conversation at a rally for example with information some prefer not to state publicly.

If you cannot get to a rally such as one scheduled for your busy time of the year, ask questions on the forum and then take the conversation private if necessary. We lose out when the conversations go private so I can’t encourage that, but I understand some things are not to be said on an open forum.

Now that I have encouraged you to seek out other opinions regarding coaches, here is the important part. You and only you can decide your budget, how you intend to use the coach, and your wants and needs. Others can fill in the gaps in knowledge, but the bottom line is that you have to make your own decisions and not allow yourself to be led into a coach that might be ideal for someone else, but not you.

Close to us Allegance air runs no-frill flights to Sanford Orlando $39– lots of areas have simular deals–have seen them on destination list in For Wisconsin —KY ___Mich—many other states….Go down–see the guts..I’ve been there twice…Being car guys you have more vision (feel) than the average market buyer. The Prevost Shell is best converson shell for conversion…Might be aware of the engine code–but you have already noted that:: Even If your not new market buyers see how they are put together!! Was former Brand XXX area.. really nice people! Employees ask your well formed car guy questions…… Or pick another converter……. When they steer you away from the old guy with the pencil behind his ear…. or give you the generic answer……. run—-runnnnn….Then go to the glitz—-glammor—- sales pick out your floor plan with wine in a real glass!! If you Decide preowned is best for you—(my choice) you still know how the coaches were put together… By the way they had some nice demo-units on lot last time I was there…. Bob

We went to the show last year and after some really convoluted finageling we bought the coach that we saw there. Its our first Prevost and if it werent for seeing all those prevosts in one place we might still have our American tradition so I say go and bring your checkbook LOL. Seriously it was a really nice show.Goand enjoy yourselves , we will be doing it again fer sure.

well I got my plane tickets, be in Orlando Saturday night around 6:30pm. Leaving Orlando on Wednesday around 5:05pm.

i know the Tampa show is Mon., Tues., but I want to checkout lazydays, motorcoach store, and parliament while there also. Any other suggestions of places to add to that list.

This trip is just going to be me, Jane will be keeping things running in the north.

I think this show will provide an excellent source of seeing the different converters and years to give me that comfort zone in a condensed venue, making it easier than traveling,

Does anyone know if Phil Cooper or panterra will be in Tampa.

Is Motor Coach Store the same as Marathon Dealer.

The Motorcoach Store is in Bradenton, real close to the Tampa area, only about 10 miles south of St Pete.

Marathon is in San Antonio, FL which is north of Tampa about 35 miles.
