Thanks Jon, Jeff & Glen, You are mucho appreciated!!! I did a little reading last night on the Vanner site. Jon & Jeff you are right about disconnecting the ground before doing anything with the EQ. I looked at the 60-50A Family 1 pdf and the instructions for checking and connecting the EQ’s. It kept saying disconnect ground connection before doing anything. As weird as this is, when I disconnected the EQ way back when the problems began I didn’t disconnect the ground from the battery. It was still connected yesterday when I tried connecting the EQ back to the batteries. That may explain the sparks … we will see! I will check today after coffee! Thanks! Mike

Update , I replaced the other four calipers two on tag and front , both tag axle calipers the boots for the big slide pins had big holes in them but they where still sliding free , so glad I replaced them , you could also just replace the slide pins and put new boots on them , I did them at the ranch and Trina did most of the work!!!!! Jeff !!!!

We left Jacksoville on our trip to Breckenridge last Tuesday. First night we stopped overnight on I-10 near Pensacola. Turned the Trac Star on everything worked perfectly as usual. Next night in Louisiana turned it on again and never got a signal. It just kept cycling on Locked Verify. Same in Oklahoma last night. And Kansas tonight. So, I thought maybe I should look on the Foum for anyone having a similar problem and wound up reading this thread. I still don’t understand why it worked fine as usual and now it doesn’t, but it sounds like it needs to have a program update. So, we will be in Breckenridge at Tiger Run for the next month. Does anyone know of a resource nearby to reprogram the thing. Thanks in advance.

Can you take the old one to the local Ford dealer? What about a late model junkyard?
The brain for the keypad on an XL or XLII is under the dash, behind the panel on the right of the stepwell. It might have a model or version number.

This is a AUX water seperator located in the drivers bay on Marathon. This is also a must seal valve. Loss of AUX air will release the internal valve.
The AUX compressor must be running then holding your finger on drain hose to close the valve inside the canister.
AUX air will not build until this valve seals. I’am not sure about CC AUX air set up but I’am posting trying to help.

Brian, I just love spending other people’s money and you will find that same feeling among many of the PC members. If I could make one suggestion:
Increase your 45 foot pit to 48 or 50 feet, as this extra length will allow you to go into the pit and under the bus easily, otherwise, you will have to crawl under the bus to get into the pit or off center the bus over the pit.
OK, 2 suggestions…Along the full length, both sides of the pit edge install 2 inch (at least 1-1/4) angle iron upside down making a little step so that you can place 1-1/4 Redex flooring sheeting (or demensional lumber) in the channels when the bus is not over the pit protecting the deep hole in the floor. If you cut the sheeting at each end to 5 feet, then you can have the exposed end(s) covered when you are under the bus, whereby someone does not come to ‘check’ on you and fall in, as well as keeping pets out. As you want to leave the pit, simply slide the sheeting toward the middle of the bus and stoop under the sheeting and you can climb out then pull the sheeting back to protect the hole. Also the shorter pieces can be used as a tool holder, or a place to put a bucket or catch pan.
If you find that you end up with too much money left over, just post your predicament on this forum and you will get a lot of free ideas from this group.
