My H is 12’10” without antennas. With the Tracvision mounted up front and the CB antennas the height is 13’4″ . Nothing less than a 14’0″ door for me.
Dropping the coach all the way lowers it 4″ from ride height. -

Run it hard, long and often, that’s what they like. I’ve never seen a Motorhome conversion with 20K hours on the gen. Mine is an 01 and barely 2,600 hrs.

Sorry for not replying earlier. I havent had a chance to visit the site in a while. I have a 2002 Millennium XLII double slide. I have owned it since November 2007 and have put about 70,000 miles on it. I have been very happy with it so far. It drives great and is very useable – it has a queen bed, two bunks, a separate toilet with sink, a separate shower with sink, two electric couches and a booth. We have slept 9 in it, but usually just the four of us. My mileage has averaged 6.7 mpg over the last 20,000 miles sometimes towing (a Tahoe or F-350) and sometimes not. I did have an issue with a leaking slide (top) which Prevost repaired. The bus is very solid. I previously had a 92 Angola XL so that is my only comparison. I remember stopping in Knoxville on the way home from buying it in New Hampshire and having breakfast with Jon and Lady Di. If you have specific questions feel free to give me a call at 713.973.3571.

We had heated floors in our previous 2003 Country Coach and loved it.. Wpuld recommend heated floors to anyone north of the Florida line. They may have come in handy south of the Florida line this winter.

09 and after, you do not have to pull fuse on Jeeps, just put transfer case in neutral, Trans in park, take key out and go.
I use a Roadmaster All Terrain 10,000# tow bar and base plates. (overkill for the Jeep)
I have a friend that had a restored VW Bug to pull. One day, he arrived at his destination, went back to the Bug to crank it, and it would not do anything. Went around back, and looked at the engine, and found pieces of the motor. Rods, pistons etc were hanging out of the engine. (trans was in 1st gear)
Turns out, leaving a manual in gear, while towing doesn’t work well. Bus never knew it.

Your fireplace looks nice. The fact that we use a portable heater anyway, I would rather have it built in and I like the ambiance of a fire.
In the summer, we can put ferns in it. LOL!

I see the fireplace ?? then plastic coach referance!! then wonder —why that comment….? I use new inverter technology in my hvac. How many of you can take your 10F coach to 70 F in a hour on 20amps@120 volts? Big differance in type of heat put out if firelpace is radiant vs heatpump.. So who is stuck in a rut? I don’t have a fireplace in the bus but if I did it would be because I like that kind of heat and look… I did try a catalatic heat source during construction(lp) and it produced to much condensate which would have to been addressed… Always looking Foward…. Mine does use the Aux compressor for leveling through the HWH, so I have that pressure set at 120 psi max.
Just made the trip back home, and everything worked as it used to. Showing steady at 120 psi.
I think the warmer climate helped a bunch. Still have some leaks in the aux system that I will continue chasing. Just hope the leaks are not pocket doors, or step slide. Seems like they would be hard to get to.
Al, where in the line is that valve, before the aux filter, or after?

I have pressure pro on bus and trailer from Tom it’s the best … Would not leave home with out it 1500 miles a week for 38 weeks it well worth it!!!!!!

Pressure Pro is good. I run the Smart system on the bus, nothing on the trl. The trl doesn’t concern me as much because I’m not pushing that much weight on it. If I have an issue the remaining 5 tires will hold it up without a lean and I don’t get out of the bus without a tire bat to give them a thump. Your an old trucker like me and I’ll bet we could guess to within 10 lbs of air from one thump of the tire.
When the Smart system takes a crap I will do the trailer too and we’ll talk.
