Millennium coach
Does any body on this forum own a Millennium coach was just wondering ? What your thoughts are and what they are like as far as workmanship ???

Sorry for not replying earlier. I havent had a chance to visit the site in a while. I have a 2002 Millennium XLII double slide. I have owned it since November 2007 and have put about 70,000 miles on it. I have been very happy with it so far. It drives great and is very useable – it has a queen bed, two bunks, a separate toilet with sink, a separate shower with sink, two electric couches and a booth. We have slept 9 in it, but usually just the four of us. My mileage has averaged 6.7 mpg over the last 20,000 miles sometimes towing (a Tahoe or F-350) and sometimes not. I did have an issue with a leaking slide (top) which Prevost repaired. The bus is very solid. I previously had a 92 Angola XL so that is my only comparison. I remember stopping in Knoxville on the way home from buying it in New Hampshire and having breakfast with Jon and Lady Di. If you have specific questions feel free to give me a call at 713.973.3571.

We have had 3 Millennium’s: ’03 XLII single slide, ’05 XLII double slide, ’06 H3-45 double slide(only owned for 1 week though)
I really like the Millennium coaches. They are very user friendly and their finish work is top-notch. The electronics are simple but sophisticated and if I did have a problem or a question, one phone call to the factory and they walked me through the process of fixing any issues. The only negative I have experienced is sometimes with previously owned coaches, the owners did not keep their coaches climate controlled when not in use and in hot climates the interior would overheat. When that happens the finish on the cabinets can turn milky. That is not Millennium’s fault, that is the owner’s mistake. Would love to own another one some day if I could find one in my price range.

Are they in the old Vantare/feather lite building in Sanford Florida?? Do they employ some of the same people?? Use some of the same technology??? Are the two companies related? My curious mind would like to know.. I was impressed by my visit to Sanford shop about 4 years ago and the staff.. Bob

Mark: I am sure you will get an answer from Bob. But–you gotta know Bob!! To understand why he has had so many buses. We called him Bob 00,01,03,05 for years..- Cause we never knew what year bus he owned. He likes to trade!!!
Bob and Deb just experienced an earthquake after all the snow and ice this week.. Probably time to head to Florida and get and new bus!!

The reason we only kept it a week is because when I went down to pick it up, I noticed that several of the cabinets were milky looking. I had been down that road before and chose not to try and fix the cabinets again so made a split second decision and left it there to be sold. It was a beautiful coach, I just knew the cabinets would bother me. Others may not have even noticed.Roger, after the earthquake last night I am ready to head to Florida but I just cannot find any deals on a Millennium or a Liberty!
