Mr.Mark, Sorry I missed seeinng you on Sunday. The fireplace bus we saw last week was in an Emerald-Prevost display coach
If you are still here (Indio) you might check with Transwest as to where the bus is parked. On one of the pictures taken the other day in the large group posted here it shows the fire place equiped bus. The picture is not clear showing the fireplace under the TV,
Try enlaring for better detail, it will at least show you how Emerald used the space.

Holy cow BA, while I was spending my cash I forgot to give you seven bucks for the brake spoon.
We’ll settle up tomorrow. It was kind of funny when on our way to CarQuest to buy a brake spoon we passed a Napa store and he said they have it, I said no they don’t, I called. Well he made me stop and he ran in and sure enough the guy I talked to didn’t know what it was. Al found it on the rack and came out smiling, I told you so. He would not be denied. One way to get your friends to buy tools. Go Napa.

Many years ago I was forced to commute from Winston-Salem to Greensboro, NC, a distance of about 50 miles one way. I had an old even then, 1966 Dodge Town Wagon with a Generation #1, 392 cubic inch Hemi. Well one winter morning I awoke to 6″ or so of snow on the roads. I went off to work anyway. On a secondary road I was almost hit head on by a local sheriff deputy driving way over his head. I got to I-40 and the pavement was dry. Went 25-30 miles to Kernersville where I was pulled over by an NC State Trooper. He stated I was traveling at an unreasonable speed for conditions. I asked did he mean dry pavement? Any way the conversation went no where. I noticed one of his headlights was burnt out so I suggested while he was writing citations he needed to write himself one for “Improper Equipment – Headlights” especially since driving conditions were so adverse. He said it had just burnt out. We went back and forth a couple times before he told me to just drive carefully to where I was going.

Hey Tom it looks like you will be halfway through your trip before we even set out. We should stay in touch on the road in case you find something out that we might miss.

I just like everything from the looks to the weight, and we usually pull a cycle trailer or a jetboat, a 24′ stacker or a 30′ Cigarette boat. Trying to stay under the 65′ max.Or at least look like we are under.
I can pull my trailers and still be less weight than a 45′ running solo. Or at least within a few hundred pounds.
I know alot of folks pull 30′ stackers with 45′ buses, pull car and boat combinations. Murphy’s law has taught me I am not lucky enough to pull those stunts, so we ride the short bus.

As mentioned above about the staggering bills, Prevost, Ft. Worth and Houston shops have had mine in several times last year and with (Card Blanche and my approval on costs) to the tune of a fortune and mine is sitting down in it’s barn flat on the floor. It takes a few days in the cold and a week or 2 when it’s warm. All bags, and most valves, fittings and who knows what else have been replaced and still no joy. If I knew somebody that would tackle and fix, I would be on the road a gunning. From what I’ve seen , Prevost ain’t the one and they are to busy to really do the job right. From my prospective. Good Luck. Gonna start looking at my problem myself on air issues.

I asked that question today. They were going to check. There is all kinds of room in the in the engine compartment with the D13.

I may take you up on the info. I like to do the work myself as well. We converted an Eagle a few years back, but did not do slides. Just raised the roof and drivers area and smooth skinned the whole bus. So I do have some experience with the bus frame work.
Found a deal on this Prevost when everything went South and it has been great. Still not sure about the slides but if I do slides I want them in a 40 footer. Seems all of the slides I have seen are in 45’s.
