I guess there are people watching! When I installed the new Vanner 66-100 Battery Equalizer they Recommended adding 125 amp fuse on the 12volt cable from batteries to Vanner and 80 amp fuse on the 24v cable from batteries and started as breakers then to Bussman Fuses and Vanner also recommended 1 amp fuses from Vanner EM-70-D controller to Bus, And another thought on Fuses, On a Video I watched about Bus Bars and Lithium batteries he Installed from Bus Bar to power center a Large fuse that would protect batteries and cables If there was a short, But have not done that, Bus Bars Definitely helped, Looking forward to picking up windshields from Prevost in a couple of weeks and replacing broken glass on Passenger side from AZ trip. Jeff what is crickets?

Yes, the batteries are series internally. Typical Lithium cells are 3.2 to 3.4 volts, so to get a 12V battery, 4 of them are wired in series.

If the truck has twin I beam front suspension, this is typical of this front end. There are tires made just for the twin I beam suspension, they have thicker outside tread edges.

It your tow bar is not level to 1″ low at the truck, it will make it worse

I think you answered your own question.

1S4P would be exactly how you would describe your 4 batteries connected to the bus bar. You could just say 4P but my guess is the app wants some number in the S spot.

We are very saddened to hear the news of Jeff’s passing. He was a good man and helped us quite a bit through the years. Our memories of Jeff are all good ones. We will miss his infectious laughter, big heart, his generosity and sense of humor.

God Bless his family during their time of sorrow. God Bless Jeff … tell Buddy howdy for me.

Thanks Bernie. I have the book, and I have stared at the schematics.

The issue is I don’t want to do that. I know from prior ownership that it is possible for the engine water pump to provide enough flow to the hot water heaters to have hot water when you get there.

So why don’t I want to do that. One I might forget to engage the button at the start of a drive. Even if I do, the Webasto will burn fuel until the engine coolant gets hot enough to open the Webasto tstats. Two, and the biggest factor, is that I may forget to turn it off once we get to the destination.

After staring more, I now understand that is NOT how this system is piped. I will attempt to attach a marked up schematic which shows the issue. The supply for the Webasto and the return are deadheaded against one another in the area in red. There is no motivating force to circulate the coolant. I am going to have to replumb to get what I want.
