Coincidently, today I have the right side tag wheel off to replace brake caliper slide pins. So I just went out and looked at the shock mounts. It looks like there is a stud, threaded on both ends. One end screws into the chassis, then the shock slides on that stud, then a washer and nut screw onto the outside of the stud holding the shock in place. All I can see behind the shock that makes me think it is a stud is a hex seated up against the frame. Logic: why would there be a hex there if not to put a wrench on? And I didn’t see a weld bead there either. It is easy access once the wheel is removed. Good luck.
According to my vin number, my model is a 1994 chassis.

You have to be careful around PC folks. As the average age of a Prevost owner exceeds the age when drawing social security is allowed this entire group may see those videos and end up wetting their Depends.
Seeing the car lifting its leg and peeing reminded me of when I was making sales calls with Tom. You all know he is getting on in years so you can believe this.
He dressed up with a suit with a tie and a vest, and as usual he had to stop and pee just after he got in the car. So I stopped at a quiet spot along the road, he opened his vest, pulled out his tie, and peed in his pants.

How expensive is the upgrade kit? I was at Prevost JAX a few weeks ago and it was never mentioned.

Jon, I’ve actually been lurking for awhile trying to figuire out the characters here. My conclusion is that they’re all charactors! lol

Thanks Tom, but this one has the 60 series in it. I have a 94 Kenworth T600 that has the same engine, great motor.

Good coverage of the Emerald BA. They just had one here at Pelican for the RV Show and it was very nice. Glad you got some pictures. The one here had a lighter interior.

John, joined us when 4 other buses attended the FMCA rally in Indy. Jon’s W. bus and ours were parked side by side and extending the awnings gave us some sun protection for all to bring their lawn chairs together. We had a great time sharing tall tales, adult beverages and several meals.
John was very knowledgeable in many things related to buses both function and technical but especially A/C.
Sad to hear of this very nice man passing.
RIP—- John

On Wave’s vintage coach he has coolant temp, oil pressure and transmission temp as the three gauges in a line across the top of his instrument panel.
Life is good if all three needles on those three gauges are pointing straight up and down. However what will make Wave’s transmission and coolant temps deviate is Wave likely has a transmission retarder and when that is engaged and working the transmission temp being registered is at the outlet from the retarder ahead of the heat exchanger. But generally speaking if they are all pointing up and down they are likely displaying the correct values.
Gil makes a very good point about DDEC needing to see the correct temps, but Wave can verify that because the 2 cut in temps are around 204 and 208 so if he sees the temps cycling around those temps it is likley his fan is cutting in and out as needed.
When in doubt if there are two gauges, base the decision on what is being shown on an IR heat reading gun pointing as close to the temperature sensor as possible.

I’d simply use Silverleaf’s VMSPC solution ($300) on a small netbook ($250) with a second VGA screen to cover your existing screen if you so desire. VMSPC is a small adapter that hooks into your diagnostics port plus software that runs on a PC/netbook. So for $600 you have a full replacement that can easily be upgraded to new PC hardware whenever necessary.
I have an analog dash but use the VMSPC on a netbook to display all engine/transmission parameters and log the information.
