Go to the last topic on the forum, Instructions, and click on Internet Explorer slow typing. Change to Chrome or Firefox, much better.

I keep mine in low all the time and on high when I need it. I try not to use the service breaks unless I have to. Sometimes I’ll see No Engine Breaking signs from time to time so I’ll turn it off but that’s the only time.

My concern goes beyond hoping the 10 year rule does not apply to a Prevost.
I get it. High end RV parks want to present an image. That image is elegance, or quality, or whatever someone deems is tasteful. But the rule as written is easily defeated as to its intent. Does a 10 year old Prevost look less appealing, or classy or elegant than a 10 year old Winnebago? How about an 8 year old Winnebago?
What about the cheap, ugly looking but large motorhomes built for a low price that have as much quality to their appearance as a Yugo, but which meet the age standard.
As a society we make choices. Every one of us does. We select our vehicles, homes, RVs, clothes, etc. to meet whatever our own personal standards are. And yet we are supposed to go to an RV park that sets our standards for us? I don’t think so. I’ll choose what I drive, how I dress, and who I want to associate with, no one else is going to tell me otherwise.
I may be wrong, but those rules are bordering on the kind of discrimination we now have laws to prevent. Those rules suggest to me “if you ain’t one of us, you don’t belong”. That my friends is exactly the kind of rules and behavior I don’t want any part of.

Do a search using the search word “OAI” and it will bring up my UOA post from late Aug 2015.
I’ve been doing UOA for years on many of our vehicles. I’ve used Blackstone and Oil Analyzers Inc-OAI. I’ve sent them the same sample to see what the results would be. The results were the same but OAI recommendation was more conservative so I stuck with them. Both labs have a lot of good info on their website. There’s also a forum dedicated to oil called “bob is the oil guy” where there’s a lot of good info.

On my previous Kubota powered generator there was a round knob that I would open while cranking. I think it allowed the unrestricted flow of fuel into the fuel lines to the injectors. When the engine fired I just closed the valve.
To avoid cranking I also used jumpers to power the fuel pump and when it is not delivering fuel it has a high frequency sound to it, but as fuel is pumping through the system that frequency goes down until it is just a slow clicking indicating the fuel system has pressure.

A few years ago Brian Wilson wrote and with the Beach Boys recorded the title song for an album that was originally going to be called “That’s Why God Made the OTR”. As with some many songs, things changed during recording and the title of the song and consequently the album morphed into “That’s Why God Made the Radio”. Brian wanted to stick with “… the OTR” but relucantly agreed to ” … the Radio”.
I suspect that Brian had special insight into why Liberty Coach made OTR a hallmark of their luxury coaches for people like Jon and I to enjoy with our families and our guests.

I have been using the paper towel technique for a couple weeks now trying to find the origin of the leak. The paper towel got me to the area below the drain/feed outlets.
We dried the bay out yesterday, will look again today to see if it’s leaked since last night. if it hasn’t, we will fill and see if it leaks then. If it does then we know it’s in the fill circuit. if not, then it’s back to the lower bungs. Maybe drain the tank and replace the hose that connects the tank to the copper pipe.

Don’t worry Mark if yours has aluminum holding tank you will have to do yours and replace with stainless

We are in Crystal City, VA but can coordinate to meet “outside” the city as well. We are basically just off I-395, just south of the 14th street bridge/potomac river. Since I’m still working till Dec. ’15, so evenings and weekends work best.
