  • Helping a Marathon Owner

Posted by Hector on March 14, 2017 at 5:13 pm

I am a proud, satisfied Country Coach owner and throughout my ownership,
I have been fortunate enough to piece together needed coach systems documentation.
Without the documentation, diagnosing issues would be very difficult.

I have a friend that has owned Marathon, bus #667. He has stated that he has contacted Marathon
in Dallas and they were not willing to help with providing any documentation.

If any Marathon owners, with a coach number close to Joe’s bus
are willing to copy their documentation, I am sure any cost will gladly be taken
care of. I have had several chats with
Joe concerning his bus, but my knowledge of his house systems are limited.

Also, what are the ways other Marathon owners obtain coach
    documentation or support?

    Any help is appreciated.

I have my Marathon book, but it is not very comprehensive, and it is for an H3-45. Not sure what would apply to your friend’s coach.

A call to Coburg and Leon for support is 2nd to none. I would think they could help with owner documentation and limited electrical drawings.

Coburg should be able to provide the content of the owners manual which includes the construction overview showing where equipment and Techlink switches are throughout the coach. It also includes an overview of the AC electrical diagram including inverters, shore power and generator.

I have not seen the equivalent of the Prevost wiring diagrams showing wiring numbers etc. The Techlink network really requires hooking up a custom network analyzer to troubleshoot.
