I agree. I don’t understand the Smart car. It should get at least 50 mpg+ with the gas engine. And, it uses premuim fuel? What the heck?
The crash tests show that it can hold it’s own.

Bill… I have four filters on my 04 CC XLII. One outside in the driverside bay #2 at the right hand side of the generator there is a panel that removes and it is up inside that panel which also has the water pump. The other 2 filters are under the kitchen sink. One big fat one for the instahot and one smaller longer one for the sink fauset. The last one is in the refrigerator. Don’t know how yours is set up but I Hope this helps

To replace parts and not check if it’s working is a dumb ass move if it was not check after the new one was put on to see if it was working ,or it may have failed to soon you know made in China , new parts can be bad out of the box , I have showed that many times over with new parts, from brake cans to R14 valves to airbags

This can be avoided by straining sewer hose effluent through cheesecloth prior to brewing.

I’m not going, but this is a general comment………..If anyone thinks Peter and his brother should contribute a tow truck, I would urge two things. First, everyone needs to break out their wallet and share in the cost because that is a serious expense. But perhaps more importantly, if you really will feel more comfortable having a tow truck along you might want to rethink your maintenance program.
I’ll go away now.

Here is a link to a previous thread – Our coach has the stainless steel “clamshells” fastened to the coach side that the marker lites “fit” into. I’ve bought some LED lites and lens from Bill the Chromeman to replace the existing lights. He has a little write-up on the subject in this thread:

So most people are around 160 – still feels kinda low but clearly normal.
What’s weird about our situation is that sometimes there is no smoke at all. And sometimes there is a lot…. and I mean A LOT.

You guy’s scare me with depending on a anolog fuel gauge. Running fuel low to see if a low fuel light works is nuts.
Put yourself in this situation, when you must do this truck stop as you will not make it to the next, there is no fuel available.
What’ya going to do now ?
