Assuming the gap at the electrodes wasn’t changed the coil would have been #1 on my list. If that has been ruled out as the cause my next guess would be the control box.

Living in the area we have made this trip many times and I just relax and enjoy the ride. Like all have said, stick to the speed limit and you will be fine and much more relaxed at the other side. I have had trucks to pass me when they were not supposed to but they never get very far ahead. Just remember to come down the mountain grades no faster than the truck speed limit and you will not have to try to slow it down. My Jakes will maintain the right speed if I do not start down too fast.

Progress in the making… Talked to Elegance this morning, it’s painted and ready for Clearcoat and buffing. Should be done by Friday without any upcoming issues. Pretty good progress, dropped in off last Tuesday morning.

Tom, we are perfectly satisfied with Direct TV. Using the King Dome we were able to run two seperate recievers. Even though we use their HD recievers for their other functions, we know we don’t get a true HD signal, but that would entail replacing all the cables with HDMI ones which we deemed not worth it. Some people install the the folding dish that gets all three satellites, but not realizing that to get HD they need HDMI throughout. In addition that set up is only good parked.

Well, I found the problem tonight. One of the bay door micro switches was wired different from all the others. Also, the same switch was not being activated by the arm that pushes the micro switch arm. I just bent the arm that the electric door lock pushes across the switch to where it activates the micro switch arm and makes the switch click.
I’ve only had the coach about a month, and the light has been on since I bought it. Evidently someone had been working on the door, and got the switch out of adjustment as well as plugging one of the wires to the micro switch in the wrong place. The correct position for the two wires should be exactly like the picture I posted at the beginning of this thread.
Now the baggage lock light is off when doors are locked, and on when they are not.
If you have a coach that they light has been working properly, and now its not, I would say, check the micro switch activation on each door, then the wiring.

Try turning on the “LIGHTING MASTER” switch at the entry door. Someone may have inadvertently bumped it.

If you are not displaying shore power voltage, do you in fact have shore power to the panel?
I know you have the small green lights to indicate shore power, but is it actually there? The easiest way for me to determine if I have shore power is to turn on the AC switches in the panel. If the lights adjacent to them light the panel has power.
Does the generator display power when it runs?
When shore power is disconnected and the inverters are “on” do you display voltage?
If the panel does display power by lighting the small green lights next to the circuit switches such as the AC units, will they run?
Do you have power at outlets with the outlet switches turned on?

And adding to Greg’s comment, make sure the inverters are turned off.
As to the previous owner saying to shut off the breaker at the transfer switch I question the validity of that advice. It is good practice to reduce or eliminate loads when going from one AC source to another (inverter to shore to generator) but the place to do that is at the AC panel.

I suspect but don’t know for sure the clicking sound is a relay attempting to close.
I question why you are tripping the breaker in the transfer box. It is good practice to to reduce loads when changing power sources such as from inverter to shore or generator power, but that is best done by turning off the electrical devices, usually in the electric panel. Then based on the source of power the transfer switch will automatically select the source and close the contacts.
My first question is when you connect to shore power (and the breaker on the transfer case is reset) do you get power at your electric panel? If so will the shore power be adequate to carry loads such as a couple of AC units ? That is even with the clicking sound.
If you are using the generator do you hear the clicking? If power gets to the electric panel on generator, but not shore power one of the contactors or relays has gone bad from your description..
When I am connected to shore power there is a noise associated with that connection. It is a hum likely associated with a relay or contactor and I am hearing the hum associated with the 60 Hz frequency, but no clicking.
