Electrical panel display not working
well I finally got the shore power back on to my 94 Liberty after 3 days with none. Batteries were dead. Now after plugging it in, I am not getting a voltage reading at the electrical panel inside the coach. The green lights indicating shore power and inverter power are lit but there is no line voltage or amp usage display. Thoughts?

If you are not displaying shore power voltage, do you in fact have shore power to the panel?
I know you have the small green lights to indicate shore power, but is it actually there? The easiest way for me to determine if I have shore power is to turn on the AC switches in the panel. If the lights adjacent to them light the panel has power.
Does the generator display power when it runs?
When shore power is disconnected and the inverters are “on” do you display voltage?
If the panel does display power by lighting the small green lights next to the circuit switches such as the AC units, will they run?
Do you have power at outlets with the outlet switches turned on?

I checked again and I do have shore power. I turned it off and back on at the power source.
Generator is down right now so I don’t know about that.
When I disconnected shore power I got nothing at all at the inverter display inside the coach.
Everything works when plugged into shore power. Outlets work too. But none of the lights in the coach will come on at all. None of them. And there is no voltage readout at the panel.

if you ran the house batteries dead, you’ll have to run the engine to get power back up, or, charge the house batteries independently. With dead house batteries in a liberty, you won’t get AC power.
Jon – Remember Tom R’s problem, dead house batteries no AC even plugged in.

Try turning on the “LIGHTING MASTER” switch at the entry door. Someone may have inadvertently bumped it.

we have determined that there is no power at the lighting master solenoid or the tivoli master solenoid. What now?

after finding the house batteries, we think they are completely dead. Put the multimeter on them and got nothing. We are leaving it plugged into shore power with the EMS turned on and the battery 1 and 2 breakers on. Supposedly, that will charge the house batteries. After two hours of being plugged in it has not. Also we did fire the generator up and we still have the same issues.
Not a single light inside or outside will come on. All of the AC systems seem to be working properly.

Tom is right. With the batteries dead nothing in the house on 24V will work, including generator start.
Too much to go into here, but step #1 is to get a charge on the batteries.

do you have an Allen-Bradley computer that control the systems, if so has the backup battery been changed at all? If you loose the house batts and have a dead backup batt you could loose the programing that runs everything. I have know idea where your computer would be but it may be worth checking on.

Greg, I think you are on to something. I was going to say the same, but backed out of the discussion because there is not enough information known for a 1500 mile diagnosis.
Fresh batteries and a visit to Stuart and Troy will cure all.

problem solved! I called Bill at Liberty in Chicago and he was a blessing. He was at a rally but took the time to help me. Turns out that it was a simple round, red 200 amp breaker associated with the inverters. It was tripped. House batteries are now charging and lights and electrical panel display are working properly.

If it was tripped and you did not do anything to trip it the CB could be starting to act up. If it does it again don’t hesitate to replace it. I have replaced about 3 of that type breaker over the years so it is not unheard of for them to fail.
