SeaFlow 55 series with or wo/accumulator tank, 5.5gph, 60psi, amazon $130 to $200. If you want to spend $1k or more install a Gianneschi pump.

That is a reasonable plan in my opinion.

Okay thank you all. You’ve created great insight for me. I’m definitely not going to pursue this coach.
As for salt issues up here in Western Canada. There is some salting but not as much as there once was. I don’t think this coach would have seen salt as it always wintered in Arizona.
There’s a 1990 40′ Prevost not far from me that looks really nice but it has the 8V92 engine as well. 229,000 miles. Doesnt say who converted it. Asking price $130,000. Just not what I’m wanting to spend yet
Another one nearby that is a 1997 Liberty Classic 40′,186,000 miles on a D series. Asking price $175,000.

No problem with the ramp. Made it out from deep in the boat storage building in one slow motion without backing up and without any coach damage!
I woke up the house systems this morning. I was really surprised how well Tom Chilcote’s Lifeline AGMs held their charges during the long cold winter. One was 25volts and the other 24.7/8volts. The eight year old generator battery wouldn’t turn the Kohler generator over. I have an American made East Penn NAPA coming at 7:30am tomorrow morning.
Now I have to figure out what “Searching” means on the inverter display.

My three Prevost coaches all had a fuel door that was lockable. Wouldn’t yours have the same???????
Yes
I keep the cover (Fuel door) locked on both sides, but those are pretty common keys.
In fact, it was locked when I lost 100 gallons in the campground.

Thanks BV. I have seen this doors at the Sun n Fun facility in Lakeland, FL. They say and appear to be solely supported from the floor and not from the top. Resembles more of a car lift type setup. The company will have a display at the Sun n Fun fly in a few weeks and I going to speak with them in person then.
I can also say that the company responded to my first email within minutes. Pretty impressive for this day and age. They will even build a small door for our indoor/outdoor bar area:)

Hey thanks Bob, I was wondering if there may be access on the house battery side. I will give it a look see next weekend and let you know how it looks.

Jon, our 1992 8V’s Beaver Bus had a 3.56, ordered special. Standard Most other Beaver XL 40’s had 3.31.

Jeff thanks so much. My plan at this point is gathering all the stuff I need and working on it at a friends shop next week. At this point I am going to relocate the regulator so it hopefully stays cooler and at a minimum is easy to access. I had already ordered the $42 one. If it works I will order another just to have as a backup. If the first one fails I will order what you suggest.
Thanks for the help!

I will report back next week:)

Here is what the engine looks like with the flywheel cover removed. The 2 large gears are the camshafts, the one on the right side in the picture drives the 50DN. (Again, not my engine)

Thank you Tom . I have been away for a while and just picked this up and did not know 🙂

That switch probably controls the light in basement too?
Is dash light a door unlocked rocker or a door open warning?

That’s commercial vehicles. They are OK with an RV bus. It’s just slow to pump and the pump has to be reset again and again as the pump hits the CC limits.
