That’s why I ask here instead of converters…so far 🙂 Anyway, I know about where to go for servicing, just don’t want to go to many different locations for one repair like say bad shifting. go here replace fuel filter with water contamination with new one, drive across town or state to service transmission if problem presist etc.
However a valid point was raised about mechanics wandering inside coach to work near or on proprietary wiring, theft of contents comes to mind. So if anything, trucking with its irregularities in sleep, trip planning, schedules make preventative maintenance more difficult. However owning a luxury coach allows better planning of preventative maintenance For one stop shopping. Instead of waiting for a chance to get one repair I Seattle, another in Denver and last in Salinas Kansas before arriving in Topeka, when you guys can get it all done in Seattle before heading out.
Trying to remind myself, “dddiifffeerrffenttt llliiiffeeesssstttyyyllleeeee, different lifestyle, DIFFERENT!!! lol. NOT AN18. WHEELER. Fix it differently 😉

Brian,
Our objective from the beginning of time was and still is to bring all groups together for a large rally. We tried for a couple of years to get Jim Skiff to do it via Prevost Stuff but when it was clear that would not happen Tom and I created PC with moral support from Prevost. We announced the beginning of PC at a POG rally in Austin.
Where we got blindsided was we didn’t know POG was being sold and that PC wasn’t going to be viewed as a supplement to all the groups, but as competition to the new POG owner’s business enterprise. Even today there is a core group of POG members who would rather eat bees than acknowledge PC. The owner of POG has done a great job of spreading disinformation about PC and its objectives. It is clear the owner of the POG business will never participate in a multi group rally despite the fact Tom and I have done our best to try to make him and everyone else realize we are not competing with any Prevost enthusiast group.
Our decision to stop doing rallies is because PC is not a business. We take in some money to pay for diesel fuel, but the hours Tom and I spend daily have us working for lar less than minimum wage if any. We are doing what we are doing because we are dyed in the wool Prevost enthusiasts and owners and want to gather our collective strength to provide as many benefits for ourselves and other owners as possible. The rallies were turning out to take a huge amount of our time, expose us to financial risk, and we realized with all the other groups putting on rallies we did not need to do so. Instead of us doing rallies we will try to promote all groups and their rallies. If our members want to put on informal rallies we will post it, support it on the forum and even participate by attending.
But as far as the future we will continue to work with all groups that are willing to come together to create a huge rally, just like the ones the Prevost Prouds used to have.
In case anyone feels sorry for Tom and I for the work we are doing, don’t. You have no idea how much enjoyment and satisfaction we get administering PC and doing what we do. Instead of thanking us, all PC members should thank our advertisers because without their revenue we would not be able to pay for the costs associated with having a site like this. You also need to thank yourselves because as our numbers continue to grow we are going to continue to work to try to put together more programs for our mutual benefit such as the fuel discount program and the NAPA fleet discount program.

I think this is going to be my answer to the halogen replacement light with LEDs.
They are 12 volt, 5500 Kelvin white light 3″ diameter, 11/2″ deep 7 amps at .89 watts.
They have a frosted glass lense that unscrews and the light can be installed using the spring loaded clips or can be screwed in like the original lights I have now.
Bought them direct from the distributor. Don’t know if he will sell to anyone but can find out.
Ordered 35 @ $14.58 each. $400 at Camping World. Same light as in their catalog. Does not say anything about dimability but I don’t care about that.

Very excellent. Count me in. One thing I really like about just going somewhere with nothing planned is often a bunch of us just gather around someone’s coach and we grille some hot dogs and dish up some store bought salads and get to know one another.
We can bring some wine.

Sorry, but that is not true about International Truck. They are using Cummins EPA approved aftertreatment and dropped plans for their own 15L engine and are using the ISX instead.
They attempted to go their own route and not use the DEF, but could not get to the final nox levels they needed to be at. That was what the other engine mfgrs were whining about, that International had a competetive advangtage over them because they did NOT use DEF (at that time). If they could have gotten it to work, it would have been a HUGE advantage!!
I just had dinner with my old Service Engineer for International and he said that the Cummins aftertreatment and the ISX were working very well.

An alternative would be to rout the wood floor so the steel strips are flush with the plywood,

What I don’t understand is if you have a prevost why you would not have all things up to stuff when it is such a nice coach , those that do not do PM are playing with fire ,at 10 years of age do all brake chambers , hoses, norgrens and air bags if they are not done its simple fix it and don’t worry about it , break chambers at five years

Thank you for all your kind words. The painting was done by Precision Painting in Bremen, Indiana. They are the prime painter for several RV manufacturers and have the capability of turning out as many as 20 big coaches per day. They do custom smaller jobs as well. Paul Conley, their service manager, can answer your questions at 574-546-2406.
Yes, I’m pleased with the finish. The five coats of clear give it a deep shine. The fades on the trailer are a little off, but not enough to warrant taking them up on their offer to repaint it.
